Stars”.
#803 Bargello n Paris
Made by Dale Long
Quilted by Betty Atkins
After deciding to make a bargello quilt, the first challenge was selecting the fabric. The biggest
challenge was keeping the strips in order. I had strips numbered and hanging from a clothesline all
over the house. I’m pleased that I took the time and effort to make this quilt.

Dark green (often times mistaken for black) quilt with orange pattern bar paws and matching orange saw tooth border.

favorite fabrics and most of my stash is Asian or oriental. I finally found a pattern to use this stash. The pattern is Crown of Jewels. Please note the back. The quilt is made in such a manner to make the quilt reversible.
#827 Gone to Texas
Made by Beverly Stringer
Quilted by Sherri Markam, Dallas, TX
This pattern is from an antique quilt made in the 1800’s and featured in the book “Gone to Texas” by Betsy
Chutchan. I began this quilt in March 2011 at a retreat and had so much fun making it that I could not stop
working on it. It was so inspiring to think of the women who made this quilt and wonder where she got her
fabric and her inspiration. Making this quilt was truly a journey back in time.
