Easton Rotary Mixer: Mar k your calendar for Thur sday, October 27
for a Rotary Mixer at Northampton Country Club from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
This will take the place of our regular weekly meeting. Don’t forget to
invite friends and family!!!
Community Service: Pr esident RC pr esented Lor i Metz and the YMCA
with a check in the amount of $1,765 representing the profit from the
Easton Rotary Clam Stand. The money will be used to buy healthy food for
the kids enrolled in the Y’s before and after school care program.
Community Service: The Easton Ar ea Community Center Gala and
Casino Night is scheduled for November 5 at NCC.
Community Service Idea: Per haps something “mum-related” for cancer
patients around Thanksgiving.
Meeting Change: Easton Rotar y will begin a 6-month trial period in
January that will feature a breakfast meeting on the second Thursday of
each month. The Club will still meet at Northampton Country Club but
there will be no lunch meeting that day.
Rotary Opportunity: The Rotar y Leader ship Institute is coming to
Bucks County Community College on Saturday, November 12. This is a
great place to learn about the greater world of Rotary and brush up on some
leadership skills. Easton Rotary will help subsidize the cost of attending.
Community Service: Satur day, Mar ch 11, 2017 will featur e a Rotar y
service opportunity at Moravian College. Volunteers from 5 Area Clubs
will gather to put together pre-packaged meals which will then be
distributed to local food banks.
The following candidate has been approved for membership by the
Membership Committee and the Board of Directors. Objections must be
submitted to Secretary Paul Braden, in writing, within 10 days of this notice.
