Each 8’x8’ booth is furnished: (1) 6’ blue skirted table, (2) folding chairs, a
wastebasket, and a 7” x 44” ID sign. Each 8’ x 16’ booth is furnished: (2) 6’
blue skirted tables, (4) folding chairs, a wastebasket, and a 7” x 44” ID
sign. Exhibit spaces in the Grand Ballroom and Union Station hallways are
provided with 3’ high drape on all sides. The Grand Ballroom, Illinois St.
hallway, and hotel areas ARE carpeted. Union Station hallways are NOT
carpeted.

PAYMENT POLICY:
Our CREDIT POLICY requires 100% payment with order for service, and
anticipated freight. CREDIT CARD information for payment of advance and show
site orders must be forwarded to MES in order for us to provide any equipment or
servicers. Please complete the PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION FORM which must
accompany your order.

Payment, Authorization & Terms:
Advance Discount: Advance charges may be paid by company check, but credit card information is required for hassle free ordering of additional services on-site. All outstanding balances will be charged to your credit
card. At the conclusion of the show a complete invoice will be prepared and sent to you reflecting all charges and payments. No credit will be given after close of event on items or services ordered but not received. Any
issues you may have with any equipment or services ordered, need to be addressed on-site at the Markey's Exposition Services exhibitor services center prior to show closing. No checks drawn on a foreign bank will be
accepted, nor checks marked "Payable in U.S. Funds." Please issue on a U.S. Bank or a U.S. Money Order or American Express International Money Order. We will also accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and
Discover charges. Please write the appropriate charge account number and sign below. By providing your credit card number, you are authorizing Markey's to charge your card for all outstanding balances. A $20 surcharge
will be added to your account for any attempted credit card processing that are declined.
Payment Terms: We require 100% payment with order for service, tax and anticipated freight. This form with your credit card information for payment of advance and show site orders must be forwarded to Markey's
Exposition Services, LLC in order for us to provide any equipment or services. Full payment of rental charges must accompany your order forms and be received by our office before deadline to qualify for the discounted
rates. ALL orders received after deadline (indicated on each form) will be charged at standard rates. A $40 surcharge will be added to your account if any credit charges for services are denied by the merchant or if any
checks are returned.
Collection Terms: Due upon receipt. Unpaid balance at the close of the show will accrue a service charge of .0575% per day, annual interest rate 21%. You will be responsible for all fees, including attorneys fees,
connected with the collection of your accounts. By signing this form you are accepting the terms, conditions, and limits of liability as stated on various forms and agreements pertaining to services rendered by Markey's

Every attempt will be made to provide men at the time requested. However, starting times can be guaranteed only in those instances where men are
requested for the start of the working day, either 8:00am or the official published set-up time. Exhibitors can save time by electing to have Markey's
Exposition Services supervise the installation of exhibits prior to the exhibitor's arrival by completing the "Supervision Information Fact Sheet". Charge
for Markey's supervision is 30% of the total labor bill (with a minimum of $50 per installation and/or dismantle.) Unless Markey's supervision is ordered,
the exhibit representative must check in at the service desk to pick up labor ordered, as well as check the labor back in at the service desk upon
completion of work. This form is not intended for the ordering of unloading/loading services. For information and cost relative to unloading and reloading
your display, please see the "Inbound & Outbound Shipping Information" enclosed.
Note: Your company is encouraged to carry insurance covering potential damages or loss associated with your display. Markey's Exposition Services
will NOT be responsible for damage or loss of display materials. In any case, the liability of Markey's Exposition Services will be limited to a maximum of
50% of the total labor bill, not to exceed $1000.

An Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) is any company other than the designated official contractors that provide services such as display
installation and dismantling, models, florists, photographers, audio visual firms, etc. and which may require access to exhibitor’s booth space any
time during installation, event dates or dismantling.

If the Exhibitor wishes to use an EAC, the following rules and regulations must be adhered to by the exhibitor and the EAC. THESE
RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. The exhibitor must complete an exhibitor-appointed contractor form. Also, the exhibitor
must inform whether this contractor is authorized to order event services on the exhibitor’s behalf.
Rules and Regulations
1. The EAC shall refrain from placing an undue burden on the official
service contractors by interfering, in any way, with the official contractor’s
2. The EAC will not solicit business at the event.
7. Written acceptance that the EAC will abide by all rules and regulations,
especially those as contained herein for EAC. This form must be received
by show management no later than 30 days from the event.
3.The EAC is responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations
requiring badging. EAC must wear badges at all times.
8.In performing work for their clients, the EAC shall cooperate fully with the
official contractors and shall comply with existing labor regulations or
contracts as determined by the commitments made and obligations
assumed by show management in any contracts with the official contractors.
4. If the EAC, in any way, disrupts the orderly conduct of business by
any of the official contractors, or impairs the smooth installation and
dismantling of the event, the EAC will immediately cease such disruption
or be removed from the event site. Show management will have the final
decision in such instances.
9.Failure to comply with these regulations will result in refusal or loss of
authorization to perform services and immediate removal from the event
site.
5. The EAC who provides installation and dismantling services will be sent the
proper information from show management upon receipt of request by the
authorizing exhibitor.
10. For services such as electrical, telephone, plumbing, floral, rigging,
booth cleaning, decorator labor, and drayage, no contractor or supplier
other than the Official Service Contractor will be approved. This rule is
necessary because of licensing, insurance, and safety reasons. Exhibitors
shall provide only the materials and equipment they own and is to be used
in their exhibit.
6. Show management will give authorization to the EAC to provide installation and
dismantling services to the exhibiting firm upon receipt of: certificate of insurance
for workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, comprehensive general liability
and automobile liability insurance. The workers’ compensation and employers’
liability insurance must provide a minimum limit of (recommended $500,000 USD)
and meet the requirements established by the state in which the event is being
held. Comprehensive general liability coverage must provide at
least(recommended $1 million USD per occurrence /$2 million USD general
aggregate) in coverage and shall name show management, the sponsoring
associations, the event owners, the official contractor and the facility as additional
insured. Automobile liability should include all owned, on-owned and hired vehicles
with limits of (recommended $500,000 USD) bodily injury and(recommended
$500,000 USD) property damage liability. Show management must receive the
certificate of insurance no later than 30 days prior to the commencement of
installation.
EAC services will be limited to the erection, dismantle, and preparation of “display”
materials only. Labor and/or services for the installation and dismantling of “products” to
be displayed by exhibitors must be contracted from the official contractor designated by
show management for that service. Exhibitor appointed contractors/independent service
contractors must submit a certificate of insurance to show management no later than 30
days prior to the commencement of installation.

Clients are responsible for any damage to walls/doors/ceilings and any property in general for the self-hanging of any banners
and signs not approved by the Chief Engineer or Crowne Meetings Director. NO push pins are permitted; painter’s tape is an
approved medium for hanging items on wall surfaces.

Use of Non-Approved Power Strip plugs to operate a series of spotlights or other electrical apparatus is strictly prohibited.
Additional charges will apply for all items using electricity plugged into outlets ordered. The Chief Engineer will determine
the proper means of installment.

Vehicles brought inside the building or displayed on the hotel’s front drive require approval and a minimum of one (1) week
advance notice. Special fees apply.

Shipments: The Crowne Plaza will NOT ACCEPT shipments for this trade show. ALL ADVANCE AND RETURN

Connection Charges (as shown above): Cover the cost of electrical connections, temporary lines and bringing power lines to your
location. Service includes bringing power to one point and one connection. Charges do not include work in your booth, repair work or

All electrical connections, installations, assemblies, motors or any electrical operating gear must conform to all federal, state
and local electrical and fire codes.
All equipment regardless of source of power must comply with all safety codes.
Exhibitors Shall Be Prohibited from overloading circuits regardless of voltage and amperage. Overloading of circuitry due
to equipment failure will be excusable only on the first interruption of power. Equipment must not be restarted until a “house
electrician” has checked equipment for source of problem and corrects malfunction.
Under No Circumstance shall anyone other than the “house electrician” make electrical connection.
Exhibitors Shall Be Prohibited from using equipment not properly protected by some type of overload circuit breaking
device. Such device to be a part of the equipment or may be installed as part of the initial installment. When approved by
the “house electrician” normal circuit protection will be adequate.
Use of open clip sockets, latex or lamp cord wires in display, duplex or triplex attachment plugs are prohibited.
Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station reserves the right to check and inspect any and all electrical connections,
equipment and facilities that any customer uses while on hotel property. “House electrician” may at any time check voltage
and amperage at any booth. Any discrepancy found on electrical systems must be corrected immediately or power shall be
disconnected.
Claims will not be considered unless filed by client prior to departure.
Special Equipment requiring company engineers or technicians for assembly, servicing, preparatory work and operation
may be executed without “house electrician”, however, all service connections and overload protection to such equipment
must be made only by “house electrician.”
All equipment must be tagged and wired with complete information as to type of current, voltage, phase, cycle, horsepower,
etc.
All Material and equipment furnished by HOTEL for this service order shall remain the HOTEL’s property and shall be
removed ONLY by the HOTEL at the conclusion of the function.
Wall, Column and Permanent Building Utility Outlets are NOT Part of exhibit space and are not to be used by the
exhibitors unless specified otherwise by the HOTEL Engineering Department or Crowne Meetings Director.
All Exhibitor’s cords MUST be of the three-wire ground type. All exposed non-current carrying metal parts of fixed
equipment which are liable to be energized, shall be grounded.
CREDIT will not be given for outlets installed but not used, and RATES are subject to change without notice.
HOTEL does not accept any responsibility for any injury / death to any or all persons as a result of this order. CROWNE
PLAZA AT HISTORIC UNION STATION, dba GENERAL HOTELS PROPERTY, INC., assumes no liability
damage(s) to equipment caused by power fluctuations beyond the direct control of the Hotel.
