Onitsuka Tiger sent out a pitch brief for a digital solution to launch their new 2014 collection, with the key campaign being the launch of the brand’s 65th Anniversary Limited Edition collection. They also wanted to take this opportunity to build up a database of loyal fans and drive brand affinity and engagement. We responded with a fully integrated campaign solution that not only addressed the launch on these campaigns on digital platforms, but across in-store and retail point-of-sale. Image: In-store motion graphic display for Ult Racer lanch at Queen Victoria Building Sydney O N I T S U K A T I GER O N I T S U K A T I GER OU R C R E AT IVE APPROACH INSPIRED BY AN ALL TIME FAVOURITE ‘WHERE’S WALLY?’ We came up with an idea that was inspired by an all-time favourite ‘Where’s Wally?’ which resulted in the ‘Find your Tiger’ campaign. ‘Find your Tiger’ was brought to life by an interactive Facebook game where users had to find hidden pairs of OTs within a given time period. Once they’ve found all of their ‘Tigers’, they could then enter a competition to stand to win 1 of 10 pairs of shoes from that collection. This all leads up to the launch of the 65th Anniversary campaign in May, where users stood to win a trip to Japan if they’ve successfully completed the game, and have also bought a pair of shoes from the new 2014 collection. The collection showcases the on-going dedication to detail, craftsmanship and our authentic Japanese heritage. The campaign finishes at the end of May with the 65th Anniversary product launch.
