Finding Encouragement and Joy in the Ministry You Support
Our mission:
To help you connect with God and each other, in order to be
transformed into the image of Christ, through His Word,
His Creation and community.
“The LORD is
close to the
brokenhearted
Our vision is to be filled.
In that context, we will trust God and His Word, follow Jesus,
and seek the direction of the Holy Spirit as we:
• fix our eyes on the horizon
• focus our hearts on people
• have our hands open to partners
• care for our properties as good stewards of God’s creation
In a culture where technology is rapidly replacing
relationships, we will be:
• a sanctuary for healing and hope
• a rest stop for celebration and fun
• a constantly innovating community
where guests and staff come alive!
Our core values:
• Fun
• Innovation
• Community
• Christlikeness
• People

I cannot
thank you
enough for the
opportunity to
rest at my Savior’s
feet through your

scholarship!
Coming here has
brought peace to
a weary soul and
refreshment to
face the future
by trusting God.
Thank you so
much for your
generosity.” P.K.
What an
incredible week
for us! God used our
time at Sandy Cove to
reset our focus on Him.
Four of our children
decided, independently,
to be baptized and it was
my privilege to do so!
As missionaries with
a large family we
never could have done
this apart from your
generosity through the
No One Left Behind fund.
May God continue to
bless this ministry.”

Together
Last year a father attending Camp Sandy Cove’s
Father & Son Weekend noticed the deteriorating gym roof,
and provided the funds for new roofing supplies!
A few months later volunteers (called the ‘Body Builders’)
from Mountain Christian Church in Fallston, MD, traveled
VOLUNTEER HOURS

to Camp Sandy Cove and worked two full days
replacing the roof!
Together, these wonderful servants…donor and
volunteers…saw a dire need and met it! We are so
very grateful that each of these men heeded the call
from the LORD and were faithful to see it through!

I began working at Sandy
Cove as a teenager…and now,
many years later my teenage
daughter Katelyn and I have
been volunteering together.
Over the past three years
we’ve been realizing that she
is creating the same kind of
wonderful memories that
I have. We find ourselves
pausing to hear His voice
in our service. After each
summer, we feel renewed
and recharged, ready to move
forward to share the love of
Jesus with others – always
looking forward to another
summer spent serving at
Sandy Cove.

In Partnership With You
At Sandy Cove, fundraising is ministry. It is grounded in prayer

*In 2007, the Sandy Cove Ministries Board of Trustees made a difficult, historic, faith-oriented and future life-giving decision. We will fund
depreciation. Depreciation pays for improvements, and keeps Sandy Cove alive. Although we have not fully funded depreciation in 2009/2010,
we funded 83% ($476,000) and in 2010/11 we funded 79% ($444,000). This is an amazing step to a healthy future.
