THE COMPANY
The RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. is an Italian mechanical construction company situated in the province of Siracusa, on the East Coast of Sicily, in the middle of one of
the most important Industrial European zones, where it can rely on a vast network of
connections and services. It was founded in the 2007 by a little group of experts, provided with wide experience, achieved by numerous projects realized all over the
world.
The RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. is specialized in prefabrication and assembly of piping and metal structures for industrial plant, above all petrochemical ones, but also
for waterworks, oil pipelines, gas pipelines, pumping stations, compression and
measurement. Moreover it deals with construction and installation of steel viaducts
and metal structures for piers and linked services, for sheds and engine rooms of
power plants, as well as components for offshore oil rigs.

SAFETY
The RIAP Welding Service s.r.l adopts a System of Safety Management finalized to
ensure the achievement of the objectives of Health and Safety at Work. The SSM
operates on the basis of the cyclic sequence of planning, implementation steps,
monitoring and review, by a dynamic process.
The policy pursued by the company suggests its vision, core values and beliefs. It
defines the direction, principles of action and results to be achieved. It also represents the commitment of top management in promoting knowledge, awareness and
acceptance of responsibility and motivation.
The direction of the RIAP Welding Service s.r.l is in fact particularly committed to its
workers and their representatives to participate in the management of SSM.
In addition, at the end of the cycle of internal monitoring, the RIAP Welding Service
s.r.l. reviews the activities and assesses whether the program has been successfully
implemented and if it is suitable for the full realization of the safety policy established.

QUALITY
The RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. is committed to meeting the expectations and needs
of its customers, while respecting the contractual requirements and seeking the best
technical operational solution.
The RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. employs in the construction industry and in the industrial installations a System of Quality Management, in accordance with ISO
9001:2008 procedures.
The General Direction indicates to its organization the guidelines and essential values of the SQM to implement and consolidate the development of the company according to ISO 9001:2008 standards.
The Quality Manager carries out the guidelines and essential values of the SQM and
guarantees the customer that the product supplied meets the technical requirements
of the project and of the SQM, through inspections and controls.
The RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. ‘ s department of Quality consolidates the company ’ s belief on the issue of quality, promoting initiatives to involve all employees to
carry out the requirements of the Quality Manual and to comply with the Procedures.

JOB MANAGEMENT
The management of orders follows well-established procedures and stages: analysis
of congruence between the contract and offer details; analysis of the project and of
its technical details, with the subsequent development of detailed engineering; programming of works and its resources histogram; elaboration of the budget; purchase
of materials; components prefabrication; mechanical assembly; testing; delivery to
the customer QC books and as-built and start-up assistance.
The progress, with close monitoring of field activities, in particular critical activities,
allows to follow the economic trend of the project and any cost differences compared
to what planned, in order to be prepared, if necessary, for any recovery activity.

PROJECTS
On behalf of Sim S.p.A., the RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. carried out the prefabrication for the project “ UGO 2011 – Steam Crackers 2F4R&S ” , of Heurtey Petrochem, for the Gonfreville refinery of Total Petrochemicals France; the prefabrication
for the project “ L-51 SWING LDPE/EVA”
of Foster Wheeler France for the
Dunkerque refinery; and a prefabrication with special material ( P91 ) for one of
STF S.p.A . ’ s projects.

PROJECTS
On behalf of the Impresa Tre Colli S.p.A., the RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. carried out
the construction of the ancillary facilities for the Snam Rete Gas “ Massafra-Biccari
pipeline ” . In Spain, on behalf of Sicim S.p.A. the RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. carried
out the ancillary facilities and pipes for the S.A. Enagas “ Calasparra-Chinchilla pipeline ” . Moreover, again on behalf of Sicim S.p.A. the RIAP Welding Service s.r.l. is
currently involved in the project “ Laggan-Tormore ” in the Shetland Islands.
