We use trees from managed forests and ensure a new seedling is
planted for each tree felled.
Our cutting technique utilizes the maximum from each harvested
tree, and provides a longer finished average length.
We slice cut our face veneers to highlight the natural wood grain.
We cross-grain layer our planks, thereby creating a floor that is
significantly more stable than a traditional solid wood floor.
We precision mill each plank to exact standards for a perfect fit.
We factory finish each plank with a crystal-clear, ultra-tough finish
that we guarantee for 25 years.
We offer more than a dozen species in a variety of colors, styles, and features.

Species available in Greenbrier, Winchester, and Keswick Collections can be installed using the nail-down, gluedown, or floating method. Greenbrier 3/4” engineered planks should be installed using the nail-down or glue-down
method. Although species featuring Eko-Loc may be installed by the glue-down method, we recommend that you
simply install it as a floating floor, utilizing the glueless locking mechanism.

engineered planks resist warping, cupping, and gapping.The secret
lies underneath—the cross-grain layers create a dimensionally stable
base that is guaranteed not to separate.This construction minimizes
plank expansion and contraction during seasonal changes.
EKOWOOD MEASURES UP. Many think 3/4” solid wood flooring
is the only choice... but we offer superior 3/4”engineered flooring.
You might be interested to know all EkoWood floors have a thick
solid wood wear layer, which can be sanded and refinished. Plus, our
planks are much longer than standard solid hardwood floors—
meaning less waste, faster installation, and a better visual appearance.
EKOWOOD STANDS UP. To heavy traffic, that is. Superior wear
and durability are built-in. Our thick wear layer is factory coated
with a tough, crystal-clear aluminum oxide finish that will stay

By nature, hardness varies by wood species. Pine, for example, is a soft
species and is more suitable for applications where durability is not a factor.
EkoWood has selected a wide range of species suited for use virtually
anywhere in the home.
