Charging with subcooling or superheat cannot be accomplished if indoor air volume is not properly adjusted. This class will teach you how to measure indoor air volume using the external static pressure measurement or heat rise method, identify causes of improper air volume and correct and diagnose and address causes of poor air volume delivery to registers. Manual D method of duct design will be introduced along with the proper use of a duct calculator. 5.5 continuing education hours Communicating Gas Furnace Troubleshooting & Product Review* with Mike Prokup 6-hour class $119 Wish you knew more about communicating gas furnaces? This class will focus on the fundamentals of communicating gas furnace setup and testing. You will learn the proper start-up procedures and sequence of operations, including lights-off and modulation sequences. In addition, testing procedures for inducer assemblies, pressure switches, flame detection circuits and limit circuit tests will be discussed. Gas Furnace Troubleshooting & Product Review with Mike Prokup 6-hour class $119 Want to learn how to properly troubleshoot gas furnaces? Upon completion, you should be able to identify and correct causes of no heat related to all stages of the ignition sequence timeline. In addition, you’ll also learn service procedures for problems in single-stage and two-stage models as well as standard and variable speed gas furnaces. He began his career in the early 80s working for his father’s plumbing and heating business. Starting from the ground up, he was involved in servicing and installing plumbing systems, HVAC, and hot water heat systems. After college, he moved to Green Bay, WI and began working for a plumbing and heating distributor. Prior to Navien, he was with an HVAC distributor in Green Bay for 13 years working inside sales, technical support and as a branch manager. Jeff Petersen Mike Prokup No Pressure Selling Steve Hughes is an accomplished trainer. His passion for No Pressure Selling is rooted in his years of success as a sales manager. During that time, he built his team from three to eight full-time sales people and grew company sales from 2.5 to 11.3 million! It is no surprise that consumers want a job done right the first time. Call-backs are not only expensive to you and inconvenient to your customers, they can undermine the relationships with your customers you have worked so hard to establish.
