A unique new comedy focusing on Earl, a
low-rent crook who has taken one too many
wrong turns in his life. Seconds after winning
the lottery, he is hit by a car and while
unconscious, the winning lottery ticket blows
away. Hospitalized with his injuries, Earl
watches a celebrity on television who is
convinced that his success is a direct result of
doing good things for other people. It is at that
moment Earl discovers "karma" -- and in
hope of a better life, he sets out to correct
every bad thing he's ever done – starting
with grade school.
Pepper Dennis is a beautiful and ambitious reporter with her sights set on anchoring Chicago's top-rated evening news broadcast. Her career is
her top priority and she thinks she is made it, but she is up for a surprise. The hot guy Pepper woke up with this morning, Charlie Babcock, just
showed up in the newsroom, grabbed her dream job and is now practically her boss. She's trying to despise him, but Charlie is smart,
handsome, funny, available and interested. Office romances can be so complicated.
Jim Belushi stars as Jim, the macho everyman, with
a soft spot for his beautiful wife, Cheryl (Courtney
Thorne-Smith), and their three precocious kids -Ruby (Taylor Atelian), Gracie (Billi Bruno) and Kyle
(Conner Rayburn). A success at his construction
business and the family breadwinner, at home Jim
seems to keep Cheryl in constant turmoil with his
boyish bravado and ever-willful antics. But their
underlying love for each other guarantees they are
in this marriage for keeps. Cheryl, for her part,
instinctively aims for the straight and narrow, but
secretly enjoys it when Jim coaxes out her playful
side. It's an odd-couple tug-of-war of happilymarried opposites yet equals. This is a love story
couched in a family comedy.
From the Emmy Award-winning creators of
"Will & Grace" comes Good Morning,
Miami, a comedy about a talented, young
television producer in Miami who is
revamping the lowest-rated morning
show in the country. Jake (Mark Feuerstein –
"What Women Want," "Conrad Bloom") took
the risky job when he first set eyes on the
show's beautiful, down-to-earth hairdresser,
who wows him like nobody before--and
presents a romantic challenge like
nobody before. The carnival of clowns at the
Station includes a pompous host, a highly
insecure station manager and a burnt-out
assistant.
"Hope and Faith" is a comedy about what
happens when the fast lane collides with
the carpool lane. It's about the moments
that make you want to hug your sister...
and the times you have to resist the urge
to kill her.
Hope (Faith Ford, "One Life to Live"), a
down-to-earth, happily married mom of
three in Columbus, Ohio, had her tidy
world up-ended by the arrival of her
celebrity sister, Faith (Kelly Ripa, "Live
with Regis & Kelly," "All My Children").
Faith was living the high life in Hollywood
as a daytime soap opera star until her
soap's character, Ashley Storm, was
suddenly and unceremoniously killed off
on "The Sacred and the Sinful" by her evil
twin. After a year under her roof wreaking
occasional havoc, Hope can attest that you
can kill the diva off on the daytime drama,
but you can't take the drama out of the
diva.
