Note:
This kit’s intended to be used with the gas caps shown above or similar. These instructions are assuming that the
gas cap installation has been completed. This can be used on 1965-66 fastbacks doing the E2 body kit as well but
there is less room for the gas cap on the C pillar so the fill tube may need to be shortened slightly front to back
making use of another 4 3/8” Long Flex Coupling available on demand part #C4GY-9047-A. This depends on gas
cap placement.
Important
This tube is only made for a gas tank or fuel cell that has the fill port in the stock location. Modifications done to the
tube will void all warranties.
1 Connect the vent tubing to the two hose barbs that are welded into the fill tube and use the cable ties to secure
the tubing along the fill tube.
2 Attach the flex couplings to the fill port of the gas tank, and the filler neck.
3 Attach the fill tube and secure with hose clamps.

Be sure to check for leaks after installation.

You can use your stock filler neck with the Mach I cap by trimming as notated here. The
”V” cut at the top of the picture is showing consideration to cut out the “V” and weld back on to gain a better angle
to clear the inner structure of the car. If you’re using our Cobra style cap, you can use the filler neck that comes
with it if you get a 45 degree elbow filler hose.
