Along with my wife, Karen, and my daughters, Emma and Reese, I always look forward to attending the State Fair. Rich in tradition, education, and of course, agriculture, the Fair gives us the opportunity to showcase Ohio’s finest people, places and products. Agriculture is Ohio’s largest industry, and the Fair gives us an opportunity to demonstrate its importance to our culture and economy. I am proud to celebrate our great state. I know the friendly staff, educational displays and exciting attractions will ensure that the Ohio State Fair is the Buckeye State’s premier family event. With livestock expositions, competitions, art and rides, the Fair is the ideal way to celebrate the summer - and enjoy some delicious food! On behalf of the great state of Ohio, I offer my best wishes for a memorable day at the Fair! Governor John R. Kasich General Manager’s Welcome This year, we honor the 160th Ohio State Fair.
