Inside this Issue
We will soon start the 2016-17 school year and I am excited to welcome
our staff and students back on September 1! Over the course of the last
month I have had the opportunity to meet many families in our Tremper
community and the warm welcome and level of support I have received as
the new leader of Tremper greatly humbles me. I am honored to be part of
such a great school community and to continue the great work that others
have begun.
Please read the information within our newsletter – it contains important
dates, forms and announcements from different departments that make up
our school. Key things to note include drop off procedures, first day of
school schedule, student dress code and homecoming information.
Pardon our dust! This year you will notice construction projects taking
place on our athletic fields. Please know that I will communicate any
challenges occurring or changes to our traffic patterns and/or parking that
may result from the projects. By this time next year, we will all be proud
of the new “front porch” to our school!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I wish you
all a great school year!

If your child did not have his/her picture taken for their student
ID/ yearbook at registration, pictur e day will be on Tuesday, September 6. You may order your child’s photos online using the information on the proof that your child brings home.
For all parents, if you r eceive your child’s picture proof and choose
to have their picture retaken, picture retake day will be on October 18.
Please have your child bring their original picture packet with them
on retake day.
Senior Portraits and Yearbook
Class of 2017
It is important that we are able to include as many seniors as possible in the Senior Section of the yearbook, so we are asking
each senior to send a senior portrait to Tremper. You are welcome to use whatever photographer you choose to take your
senior portrait; however, Lifetouch sent appointment cards to all seniors households, and will send a free senior portrait to
Tremper (with no obligation to purchase a package) that meets all of our yearbook specifications. If you have misplaced
your appointment card or need additional information, please call Lifetouch directly at 414-755-0361.
If you choose to use a photographer other than Lifetouch for your senior portrait/yearbook photo, please see the
specifications below:

This summer,
Tremper Key Club
participated in Relay for Life. Relay
is an event that celebrates survivors
of cancer and raises money to find a
cure. Our Key Club
has avidly participated and raised
money for Relay in past years. The
event is filled with food, music, and
hope. Businesses, clubs, and other
organizations set up booths with
food, arts and crafts, information,
and other various activities to raise
money for their team, which all goes
to finding a cure for cancer. Tremper
Key Club raised almost $530 on the
night of Relay. This year holds a lot
for our club; we look forward to holding an outstanding food drive in the
upcoming fall months!
