Executive Summary
OVERVIEW
CMHL is an emerging media company with film and live entertainment divisions dedicated
to owning, producing and delivering content to mainstream audiences with a targeted focus
on director/author-driven, character oriented and period/inspirational stories.
Through complete or joint ownership, CMHL is planning to produce the Broadway show A
Night in Versailles (budget US$ 4M, time period - season 2015) and the feature film The Knight
of Baie Rouge (budget US$ 20M, time period - 2017)
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Since its inception, CMHL is operated by actor/director and producer Michel Duran. CMHL
works with a combination of recurring partners as well as collaborators.

CMHL is seeking US $300,000 from Investors to expand CMHL’s operation in the US.

Synopsis: You
can see the joy on the faces of Noémie and
Marc when they reunite after being apart for six weeks. During a week-long vacation with Laure (Marc's distant cousin)
and Cyril – a French expat couple vacationing on Galiano Island off the coast of Vancouver – Marc and Noémie meet
Lyse. Lyse is friend of Laure and Cyril from Québec. She joins
the group regularly, helping them discover the island, which
she knows like the back of her hand. But the group dynamic
changes when, attracted to Marc, Lyse attempts to seduce
him. Marc and Noémie suddenly find themselves confronted
by the temptation to explore the unchartered territories of
love, forever altering the delicate balance of their relationship,
until now committed, trusting and tightly-knit...

Synopsis: With
a pistachio in one hand and a gun in the
other, Nico is a fast talking mercenary who gets the job done.
On the eve of his retirement, Nico takes on one final job: killing California Lee. California is a young female scientist on the
verge of a pivotal scientific discovery. Things take a turn for
the worse when Nico must work with the enemy, Tomi Sato,
to find California and ensure that the job is done right. Adventure runs high in this thrill-packed Buddy Cop action film.

Synopsis: While
young infatuated Célie desperately wishes to
wed handsome Lélie, her bourgeois father Gorgibus has
every intention of marrying her off to the wealthy Valère. Lamenting her desperate situation, Célie swoons, dropping a
small, cherished portrait of her beloved Lélie.
Sganarelle, passing by, rushes to her aid. His wife, glancing out
the window, sees Sganarelle cradling Célie in his arms and is
convinced he is cheating on her.Visiting the scene once they
have departed, his wife discovers Lélie¹s portrait. Returning to
find his wife admiring the young man¹s good looks, Sganarelle
believes his wife is having an affair.

A Night in Versailles, intertwining a French classical play with appropriate baroque music was first presented in Vancouver, BC and
transported the audience back to the sights and sounds of XVII
century France.
For a Broadway show, the one-act farces by Molière were our obvious choice. Actor, impresario, and playwright, he invented a new
form of Comedy: the Tragicomedy. These three plays, presented
together, are a tour-de-force for the comedians and pure joy for

In search of his father
Fencer, music composer
Tagline: In 18th century West Indies, biracial Knight of Baie
Rouge, his mother being an African slave, his father a French
plantation owner in the Caribbean, embarks on an adventure to save his father sent to the bagne in France using his
music and fencing skills.
The Knight of Baie Rouge is a story inspired by Le Chevalier de St
Georges’ life (1745-1799). An Afro-French composer, violinist & conductor, he became one of France’s finest fencers and colonel of a Black Legion during the French revolution. For this particular film, we opted not
to follow this man’s amazing life in great detail, and took a few liberties
to design a story that embraces the atmosphere of the pre-French revolution, a time where societies, traditional values and behaviors were being shaken, foretelling profound changes to come.
