Thank you seems inadequate to
express our gratitude to so many
who have given so generously to
the children of Saint Henry
School through our annual
appeal and other contributions.
Once again the annual report
is filled with the numerous
individuals who have assisted in
advancing our mission of teaching the truth and love of
Jesus Christ to the young souls entrusted to our care.
The need has been greater than normal over the past two
years as we have faced many financial challenges together
as a nation, a city, and a school community with the near
systemic collapse of our economy in 2008, the resulting
recession in 2009, and then nearer to home, the flood in
May of 2010. The number of families requesting financial
assistance has over doubled and these requests could not
have been answered without the faithful support of our
family and friends. Meeting the demand requires the support from others who not only value academic excellence
in a Catholic faith environment, but also individuals who
want to help others facing hardships. We know that the
assistance we give today is a gift for the future that will
continue to unfold as our children develop into adult
members of our community.
We are especially grateful for the ongoing gifts of prayer
pouring down God’s graces and blessings upon our school
family. Please continue to ask Saint Henry, our patron, to
pray for us daily! May God continue to bless you for your
good stewardship.

mission of Catholic education. Saint Henry School is

made this campaign a success. It is your commitment that
enables us to ensure the future of our school and make a
difference in the lives of hundreds of students each year.
