In expectation, you placed us Franklin and Parveen Massey, Aaron Massey upon the earth to care for your gift of life. And in sorrow, you have seen us Celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism exploit rather than share, divide rather than embrace, demand rather than Child of Blessing, Child of Promise Hymnal #677 give, shout rather than listen. Forgive us Lord, when we forget that we are Vivian Ryan Illian Born July 27, 2015 Daughter of Justin & Beth Illian your children, bound as brothers and sisters of your creative love. In preparation, examine your faith life, asking God to open your heart to those actions which, through the work of the Holy Spirit, will deepen your intimacy with Christ. Please take a piece of bread from the plate and dip it into the cup, partaking immediately. Gluten free bread has crusts attached. The cup contains unfermented grape juice. An appropriate response to the Elder’s words as you receive the elements is "Amen" which means, "Let it be so." Using one loaf and cup symbolizes our unity in Christ. If coming forward is difficult, you will have the opportunity to be served in the pew. All ages are invited to the table, for none of us fully understand this gift of spiritual nourishment that we have been given. The elders will be taking the elements to the Sunday School and Nursery. The Pastor will be available at the antique communion table for those who wish a personal moment of prayer. Community News ~ January 17, 2016 WE ARE GLAD THAT YOU ARE HERE!
