In July of last year, GCC partnered with Central Louisiana Community Technical College (CLTCC) to develop and facilitate continuing education programs through an Incumbent Worker Training Grant (IWTP). A program that is now offered through CLTCC is the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Program. In October of last year, the first GCC employees graduated from the program. We are very pleased to announce that since that time, CLTCC has purchased a new state-of-the art truck driving simulator for the CDL program. A link below provides additional information on the simulator and the contribution that GCC made toward the acquisition. Thanks to these GCC employees and their managers, Greg Hagar and Ryan Hazelton, for participating and also supporting our continuing education programs. Once Terry and Gabriel complete the program, these employees will return to their respective crews with enhanced SKA's and Commercial Driving credentials!
