A special feature of Big Rock is the large range of
recreation facilities available for all members of
the family. The pool area includes a large, heated
swimming pool, spa and large wooden sun deck.
The playground includes slides, swings and a
climbing structure with lots of sand for the kids.
Other facilities include a tennis court, volleyball
court, basketball court and horseshoes.
Winter at Big Rock is a beautiful time of year.
Guests enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, x-country
skiing or simply a peaceful winter getaway.
We have two new year-round lake
homes with private outdoor hot tubs.
Big Rock Resort has something for everyone.
We have a fishing contest for kids of all
ages, with prizes and ice cream cones
awarded. We also have a Texas Hold’em

We have great facilities for the sportsmen and
women, a lodge full of good conversation as
well as groceries, snacks and supplies. We
have a recreation room for the kids (or the kid
in us all) with a pool table and video games.

have two 25’ pontoons and 18’6” Polar Kraft
fishing boats with 70HP Yamaha motors to
rent. We offer complete dock services including
free fish cleaning, packaging and freezing.

Leech Lake is famous for its fishing. As
the “muskie capital of the world” your
dream of catching the big one may come
true! Outstanding walleye spawns have
produced record numbers of walleye in the
lake. Plentiful northern pike can provide
excitement on every cast. Fall fishing for
jumbo perch provides fast action and keeps
our dock crew busy cleaning fish. Other fish
include black crappie and largemouth bass.
