DUSK COLLECTION - FURNITURE WITH INSPIRATION FROM
GOTLAND’S SILURIAN LIMESTONE
With its unique light and color, caused by the calcareous landscape,
Gotland has become a source of inspiration for the “Dusk Collection”.
During the autumn, a group of designers were invited to individually
interpret the landscape - drawing inspiration from this rocky coastline.
The designers are Ania Pauser, Broberg & Ridderstråle
and Stina Lindholm. Common for all the objects is the material - Cembrit. Cembrit is
produced from cellulose and cement and is mainly used on facades. With its gray and
“rocky” surface it is similar to limestone but can be used in many different ways.
-With the DUSK - collection the designers have succeeded in designing four timeless
furniture pieces where function, material and shape have been combined to give a
whole new, exciting expression, in all its simplicity. Objects with references to this barren
landscape embodies a sense of luxury ... says Eva Hjertberg CEO of Klong.
The DUSK furniture series consists of cabinets VOLTAIRE and KLINT as well as the
sideboard KALK and the bureau GLIMMER shown in Klong’s stand A 09:15 .

We think it is time to challenge the computer game influx by reintroducing the traditional
board games and promote social interaction. We therefore asked the designer
Ania Pauser to create a deluxe board game, with multiple functions. The table can be
raised and lowered and used both as a coffee table and a dining table - or as a game
table with markers and cues.

GLIMMER BUREAU
Design Ania Pauser
This bureau is made of Cembrit with three large drawers made
of birch plywood. Its form plays on our images of hard versus
soft and challenges us to approach and touch it.
The finger-friendly knobs of brass decorate the drawers like small
jewels. The beautiful leg frame is made of powder coated steel
with brass feet. The bureau will also be made in ash with details
in Cembrit. The dimensions are 90 x 43 x 112 cm.

KALK SIDEBOARD
Design Ania Pauser
The sideboard KALK is made of Cembrit and light ash.
Inside the hard exterior, hides a softer interior clad in ash.
Inside the sideboard there are two drawers for smaller storage. The
finger-friendly knobs of brass decorate the drawers like small jewels/ornaments. The beautiful leg frame is made of powder coated
steel with brass feet. The dimensions are 160 x 44 x 72cm.

KLINT CABINET
Design Broberg & Ridderstråle
The designer duo Broberg & Ridderstråle have designed a cabinet
with an architectural design evoking the image of the quarries of
Gotland. The asymmetric shape with gaping perspectives puts
focus on the material. The cabinet can be ordered in Cembrit or
Ash. Dimensions: 60 x 101x 35 cm

VOLTAIRE CABINET
Design Stina Lindholm
Stina Lindholm lives and works on Gotland (Skulpturfabriken).
Stina is a sculptress and works mostly with concrete. Here she has
formed a cabinet that is based on the interaction between different
materials. The fine raw Cembrit meets ash and brass in an elegant
combination. All these distinct materials play an important role and
are essential in creating this fine piece. Dimensions: 43 x187 x 29 cm

RING LAMP
Design Jens Fager
The name is based on the lamp’s playful shape and the ring gives
it a distinct character. The lamp has a screen cover creating a pleasant
glow, diffusing the strong light. RING is perfect for cafés, restaurants,
offices but also in your home wherever you wish to hang it.
Dimensions: 25 x 23 cm. Price: 2000 SEK
COURONNE TABLE
Design Ania Pauser
Couronne is a board game with markers and cues. The table is height-adjustable
allowing you to choose from three heights and can be used as a coffee table or a dining
table. It can also be completed with a glass table-top. Veneered table top (black- or white
stained) with a white or gray leg-frame and brass details. Game cues are made of wood
with leather and brass trimmings. Dimensions: Width: 88 x 88 cm. Heights: the game
table is 91 cm, the dining table 76 cm and the coffee table 42 cm. Price : 14000 SEK
