• Please provide an active URL together with the advertisement
• URL must be active on delivery date (so everything can be tested)
• Delivering HTML tags is possible, given that they are active on delivery date (for testing).
Deadlines
• Non rich media (GIF, JPG, PNG): 3 working days before start campaign
• Rich media (SWF, third party tags): 5 working days before start campaign

File types
For all ad formats you can choose between JPEG, JPG, GIF (both animated as static), PNG, SWF (Flash) and third party HTML
tags.
Flash animations
• Flash creations should always be delivered with an accompanying backup GIF or JPG file in same dimensions, to ensure
correct publication of your campaign on all devices (as iPad and iPhone for example does not support SWF files).
• Do NOT insert a hardcoded destination url in the SWF, but use a clicktag, as otherwise no measurements of the number of
clicks is possible for your campaign.
• Use the following clicktag:

• Remark: do not use ‘on(press)’, but do use ‘on(release)’, otherwise most pop-up blocking software will be activated and the
user can’t go to your webpage.
• Remark 2: Use the target “_blank” for the clicktag.
• Maximum 3 loops within 15 seconds
• Flash animations must be delivered as SWF file format, not FLV or any other format. It is allowed to use third party HTML
tags; in that case you can deliver the HTML tags to use.
• Maximum frame speed is 20f/sec (20 fps).
Design
• It is not allowed to mimic the design (or parts) of www.SeniorenNet.be (this would mislead and confuse the visitor). Your
advertisement should be clearly not made by SeniorenNet.be.
• If your background colour is white, a frame must be provided in black or another clearly contrasting colour.
• The advertisement should be seen clearly as an advertisement by the average user.
• It is not allowed to trick people by using the impression that you give a system error, site error, mimicking dialog window
of Windows, Mac, Unix, etc.
• No flickering allowed, no flashing background or any other advertisements that distracts.
• Advertisement may not be vertical or upside down.
• Text must be clearly and readable. It is not allowed to use unrecognizable, vague or unclear images or text.
Sound, video
• No sound, except after user initiation (click), given that there is a working mute button. Default state is muted. Mouse-out:
sound off. No looping allowed.
• Video only starts after user initiation (click), initial download may not exceed 40 KB. After user initiation you can use progressive download (no streaming) up to 3 MB for video. Mouse-out: sound off.
• A video advertisement should feature a play, mute and stop button. Default state is paused.
Remarks
• No expandable advertisements
• In case you use an ALT text (mouse over text at cursor): maximum 65 characters.
• URL to a website with adult content, gambling, spam, violence, hate speech, illegal drugs, advocating racial intolerance,
dangerous products and (promoting) illegal activities are not allowed.
• All advertisements must function uniformly on popular browser platforms and/or operating systems.
