The 27th Trade Expo Indonesia
Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) is the annual B2B exhibition
organized by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia
to enhance business and trading activities in various products
and services, expand business networks, and exchange the
untapped business potentials.
The theme for TEI 2012 is “Trade with Remarkable Indonesia”.
This theme is picked to showcase that Indonesia has a
remarkable selection of products and services to offer, not
only agricultural or mining raw materials but also a variety
of value-added products as well as quality services sector.
This remarkable offer is reflected in the diversity of products
and services displayed, including value-added agricultural
and mining products, creativity-based products, technologyintensive products as well as services sector such as skilled
manpower, construction services, services incidental to mining,
trade-related services and IT-based services.

TEI 2012 is different from the previous Expos –in that the
multi products displayed will be focused on six specific clusters
that has been stimulating economic growth and bring ample
business opportunities to both exhibitors and visitors. They are
: 1) Agricultural Products, Manufactured Goods and Services;
2) Furniture; 3) Home Decoration and Building Materials;
4) Fashion, Lifestyle, and Creative Products; 5) Various Quality
Products; and 6) Garden Furniture and Knock-Down House.
Each of these clusters has its own strong growth potential
and has significantly contributed to the national economy. TEI
2012 will also feature Services cluster which Indonesia is
competitive at, including skilled manpower services, business
and construction services, services incidental to mining, and
ICT services.

The WEDF will jointly organized by the Ministry of Trade of the
Republic of Indonesia and International Trade Center, Geneva,
Switzerland. It will bring together about 400 participants of national
and international policymakers, heads of trade support institutions,
representatives of international agencies, and business leaders from
over 50 countries. The theme of each forum is developed through a
participatory process involving a number of preparatory workshops
between ITC and event partners. This year Indonesia will host this
event in Jakarta.

General Information
All visitors to Indonesia must be in possession of a valid
passport for at least six months from the date of arrival for
certain countries and must be checked for current regulations
prior to departure. Call our Indonesian Embassy or Consulate
for up-to-date information or log on to www.imigrasi.go.id. Most
business visitors will be welcomed at the airport by Directorate
General of National Export Development (DGNED) staff. Trade
Expo Indonesia 2012 will have a reception and information
desk at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to guide all official
delegates to their hotel pick-up service.

TEI 2012 is mainly a B2B exhibition and is open to professionals,
hosted buyers, trade visitors, and other specially-invited guests
only.
