VIPS continues to be extremely blessed with the tremendous annual support of Kosair Charities,
WHAS Crusade for Children, United Way and many, many others. VIPS is able to fulfill our mission
because of the generous support of individuals, foundations and partners including the Dr Mark and
Cindy Lynn, Osmondson Fund, Woosley Foundation, Brown-Forman, Ford, GE and so many others
whose names will follow in this report. We can’t possibly express the depths of our gratitude to all
the individuals, corporations, foundations, organizations, friends and staff who continue to make it
all possible for our children and their families. We are poised to take on the next 30 because of you!
With heartfelt appreciation,
VIPS strives to be a national leader in services to young children who are visually
impaired and their families through adherence to evidence-based, best practices in the
field of education of visually impaired and early childhood education.

over the past five years.
It’s amazing how well very young children adapt to vision loss; Bronson always
finds a way to do what he wants to do despite his limited vision. When he was a
toddler, I was convinced that he would find a way to learn things without the
benefit of vision. This is partially true; his ability to solve a problem amazes me
every day. But as he got older, the impact of blindness on his development
The Delta Beta chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Kentucky has
been a phenomenal volunteer group for VIPS-Central Kentucky over the

home in 2015. No matter the task, they always show up ready to work!

and a seven-hour daily commute was not a possibility. When we visited VIPS,
