JAPAN, March 28th 2013 - Fenrir Inc., the specialists in design and technology based software development
released version 2.3 of Sleipnir Mobile for iPhone / iPad - the lightning fast mobile Web browser for instantly
switching tabs with a single flick.
In this latest version, even though it is on iOS you can open links in Sleipnir Mobile from any app.
Originally, it has not been possible to set the default browser in iOS, so in order to open links in other Web
browsers, it has been necessary to add open in other Web browser functions to each app. If you use the new
function in Sleipnir Mobile called Copy from other app and open , even with Sleipnir Mobile closed it is possible to
open links in it by simply copying the links in the app.
For example, if you copy a link in the Twitter app, that page is opened in the background in Sleipnir Mobile. There
is no need for the Twitter app to have special support for Sleipnir Mobile. This is a new function turning iOS
common sense upside down, completely removing the bothers of opening pages in Sleipnir Mobile.
This Copy from other app and open function is
turned off by default so that it doesn't cause any
unintentional results. In order to use it, please turn on
Open from Other Apps from the Sleipnir Mobile
settings screen.

When a link is copied in another app, a notification
that the page has been opened is displayed at the top
of the screen. Because most apps such as Twitter,
Facebook and RSS reader apps include a copy function,
you can quickly open links in Sleipnir Mobile.
Of course, selecting standard text and copying it
works too. Even if you copy multiple addresses at once,
they all open. Furthermore, even if unnecessary text is
mixed inside, addresses can be extracted and opened.
This Open from other app function works after Sleipnir Mobile has been closed for 10 minutes due to iOS
specifications. After 10 minutes has passed, Sleipnir Mobile in the background is terminated by iOS.
