Baton Twirling Clinic hosted by the Villanova University Twirlers DIRECTIONS: From route 476: Take the St. David’s exit toward Villanova University onto Lancaster Ave. Go left on N Spring Mill Rd route 320. After the bridge, take the second driveway on your right. Wind around to pass the railroad station and go straight to the Guard Shack. Check with the guard for parking and gym entrance. Mention Baton Clinic. Many hotels are available in King of Prussia, PA. Full Day Clinic 9:30* am – 4:30 pm Includes Villanova University shirt and lunch Mini- Clinics 9:30* am – 1:00 pm or 1:00* pm - 4:30 pm Fun half day of baton twirling; learn new skills! Great clinic for new and young twirlers. Registration begins Private Lessons Where else do you have the chance to learn from such accomplished and renowned twirlers? A limited number of 30 minute private lessons can be scheduled before and after the clinic. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. If space allows, you may schedule more than one lesson, so register early! Course offerings Staff will share with you their knowledge and experiences twirling in college, how to become a champion, dance technique to benefit your twirling, what the judge wants, twirling professionally and more. TWIRLERS: Non-experienced, Recreation, Novice, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels; Tricks & Combinations; Rolls; Multiple Batons; Feature Twirling; Duets, Trios & Groups; Technique; Rhythmic Twirl, Dance for Baton, Novelty (bring hoop, flag, ribbon, etc. if interested) f COACHES: Topic requests will be taken (email to Sarah at [email protected] by 1/17/2014); AAU updates; Highly popular Round Table Discussion WILL be included! May also attend any classes. PARENTS/SPECTATORS: Only those who are registered may attend/observe the clinic. Registrants may attend any Athlete Class from provided seating as well as the AAU update seminar. Fee includes lunch and, if registered by 1/12/2014, the clinic tee-shirt. TEAMS: Majorette lines, duets, trios, teams Combine your Discounts and receive up to $33 off the Full Clinic price! $5 discounts each Sibling (after 1st child) Early Bird (online by 12/24) 8 or more group members, when registered together, will receive a $5 discount for each member. (Must notify the Office at least one week prior to the clinic for the discount to be applied. Coach nay also request a personalized class for your group at that time) $18 discount (worth the price!) For Athletes, Coaches and Spectators who pre-register online (www.ausports.org) for AAU membership at the AB level only. A copy of your AAU AB membership card must be emailed to [email protected] or shown at registration. (AAU membership runs from September 1 to August 30.) Class for University Performance 4:30-5:30pm Join fellow AAU twirlers in a halftime performance at the Drexel University Men’s Basketball Game in Philadelphia on Sunday, February 16, at 8 pm. Open to twirlers of all levels regardless of clinic attendance, so, if you can’t make the clinic but would like a unique performance opportunity, this is also for you!
