FROM THE W.O.T.M.
Hello Everyone!
Finally Spring is arriving and your Chapter has a busy schedule.
Elections were held and your new Board of Officers are as follows: Jean Themm - Senior Regent, Barb
Panasiewicz - Jr. Regent, Karen Panasiewicz - Secretary/Treasurer. All nominees ran unopposed and installation is
scheduled for April 28.
A craft day has been scheduled for April 9th at 2:00 pm. So ladies, pull out those unfinished closet art and projects
so you can share them with others. There is a $2.00 entry fee that is used to help the Lodge. We have ladies willing
to teach you how to knit or crochet. Come join us every second Saturday of the month at 3:00 pm.
We have scheduled a cleaning and rearranging of the storage room for April 2nd at 2:00 pm. We can always use
extra help so come on in and lend a hand.. There is plenty to do. If you would like to participate please call
231-846-4033 and your name will be added to the list
Mark your calendars!!! April 16th will be a special day. After all the work that has been in the Lodge there will be a
Grand Re-opening Dinner and Auction. A grilled chicken dinner will be served starting at 5:30 pm followed by a
new item auction at 7:00 pm. We would appreciate it if you can bring a side dish to compliment the dinner. Please
let us know what you would like to bring. The Auction will follow the dinner and all proceeds from the auction will
benefit the Lodge for upgrade and re-modeling projects. If you would like to donate a new item for the auction
please enter the name of the item and which person or business made the donation.
Ladies, we will need baked goods for this event. These items will be auctioned off so we will need cookies, cakes,
bread, pies, etc., in disposable tins. Thanks to all you great cooks in advance.
Following the auction there will be Karaoke so if you can sing this will be your opportunity to amaze your friends.
If you haven't been in the Lodge lately you must come visit and see all the repairs and upgrades that have been
completed. The Lodge look s great!! Thank you to all those who volunteered their time, talents and supplies and also
to those who made monetary donations for new fixtures.
We would like to welcome our new members: Michelle, Little and Shandra Sidat. On our capsule drawing Carla
Swanson would have won $164.50 if she been present at out Meeting. Please plan to attend our meeting every 2nd
and 4th Mondays of the month.
God Bless Mooseheart and Moosehaven
Respectfully yours,
Karen Panasiewicz
Secretary/Treasurer
