TITLE: THE RELATIONSHIPS OF THE GODLY
PREACHER: REV. EMMANUEL ADEBAYO ADENIRAN
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”.
We need to be reminded of things often forgotten. This
is the beginning of the children of God. It is not by merit
nor personal worth. It is in the nature of fallen man to
cover up but God says if any man can first confess all sins
He will deliver such person. As soon as anyone does ,
something happens!
Today, the promise is sure, you will be forgiven.
WECA Headquater’s Children Drama

To His Brethren When He Became 2
In Command of Egypt.
Forgiveness from sin is the power to become a child of God. It is the new heart not to steal again or
assault anybody again. The first relationship we develop with God is that of being His son which makes
one to offer praises unto God. Glory be to God. May God help us to value the offer of salvation and to
be eternally grateful. May God also help us to remember
that as we are saved, others also need to get saved.
We must remember it was grace that did the work and
God gave us the best so that as we sit and enjoy the
benefits from God through His love, we also need to
extend this love to others in dealing with them and in
everyday relationships.
We must aspire to love as we have been loved
particularly in the household of God and not be a
stumbling block to anyone.
Jesus admonished His eleven disciples on the

new commandment He gave them. This is the essence of
–Rev. Adebayo Adeniran and the
Interpreter- Rev. Kayode Ajiboye.
Christianity. It is not the law or commandment of Moses
but that of Christ’s love. If we would avoid the devil’s trap
, we must love one another as I He loved us. This is a higher, greater love. The sinner or backslider
cannot do it. We must be close to God to be able to do it.
1 Corinthians 12:31 “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more
excellent way”. The best and most excellent gift is “Love”. The only thing that cannot be duplicated in
hell is “Love”. The main characteristics of the household of faith among children of God is “Love”. There
is no imitation of it, not even counterfeit. Once you have it, it is clearly noticeable.
1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now abideth faith, hope charity, these three; but the greatest of
it is charity”. Love deals with the other fellow with grace. We should all pray to follow the good old way
to pray “Lord may I diminish and the other increase”.
Luke 10:33-35 “But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when
he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil
and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on
the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto
him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay
thee”. Jesus met us sinners half dead but He came, sought us, found us and gave us life until we became
2
candidates of heaven. Love is compassionate, graceful, kind and can spend and be spent. Let your
service be for love and not for anything. May God help us to understand how Jesus did it so we can do it
for others.
Galatians 5:13 “… but by love, serve one another”. Many times, our lives no longer weigh up
to the standard of God because there is no love or it was once there and it is no longer there. We should
show love for the sake of Christ first to make our brothers or sisters remain in the fold though he may
not deserve it. Service to God in love will cost you something. Compassion- Consideration- Patience.
Even when it is difficult to be merciful, we just must be patient. “That is the sacrifice we must
make. Charity is not easily provoked. He has a standard that is low for everyone. He is
humble. We would stoop low to conquer. Jesus emptied himself. Your resources are no
longer your own but held in stock to serve others. That when going to serve your brother
and sister, empty yourself as a servant.”
Galatians 6:2-3 “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a
man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he decieveth himself”. Jesus bore our
burdens and he is charging us to bear one another’s burden just for the sake of Christ. Love of the
Christian is because of Christ and heaven and to retain ourselves and bring others to
follow Christ with us. Charity keeps one in the gospel and also saves. We should remember
Dorcas who was always showing love to others and later died but Peter was brought to pray for her.
Charity would locate you and catapult you to the highest level. Charity may bring hatred to you but God
is there to exonerate you.
Joseph was first promoted and then demoted but God was working out His plan. However, he
never stopped doing good. Palace experience is waiting for you if you will love. Love forgives and has
bowels of mercy. David was ready to do good to the household of Saul for the sake of Jonathan his
friend even though Saul hunted for him for ten years. When people offend us, we retaliate because
there is no love. Jesus forgave Peter and corrected him in love. Jesus created an environment that was
suitable for correction (Jesus never gave up on Peter); do not give up on anyone.
We are going out with a love that lifts because it is a love that will not give up. At the gates of
heaven, so many people came and were separated, some to the right and some to the left. What was
the issue for separation at the gates of heaven? It was the love practiced in the manner of
living here on earth. Be kind to each other though many are sad, be kind to each other and make the
world glad, be a friend, be a brother with a smile all the
way. Be kind to each other wherever you are.
May Jesus not say “I know you not”.

FIRST TUESDAY BIBLE TEACHING
TITLE: JUSTIFICATION, MAKING PEACE WITH GOD
TEACHER: REV. EDET BASSEY
Justification is an experience that cannot be by-passed.
Whatever we would be for God, the first point of call is
justification. Perhaps through qualification or skill, one is
qualified to a place, but without justification, the foundation
will not last. However, if your justification is sure, God will
take you to heights and keep you there.
Justification is the gift of God’s free grace by which a sinner
gets the forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus.
Rev. Edet Bassey and Interpreter
For example, someone is declared guilty for stealing and then
(Bro. Ademola Shodipo)
the penalty is death but someone else volunteered to die in
that person’s stead and that person is set free. This is exactly
what Jesus did for us.
Justification is a process whereby God repairs the broken relationship between himself and man.
Man is a masterpiece created and placed in the garden of Eden where God would come and have a
sweet relationship with man. It was a beautiful one. However, the devil had come to change that
beautiful relationship as he tricked man into disobeying God. From then, man was chased out of the
beautiful garden and he lost that sweet relationship he had with God and the angels.
Psalm 7:11 says that God is angry with the wicked every day. But though God is angry, his mercy still
endures forever. He sent man out of the garden not to torture them but to chastise them in love.
The main business of God is to save man so that man can live with him in heaven. God has no desire for
man to die in wickedness. Ezekiel 33:11 says “…..As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the
death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his ways...”.
“For I acknowledge my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I
sinned, and done this evil in thy sight; that thou mightiest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear
when thou judgest”. Psalm 51:3-4. Acknowledge that you are a sinner. Nathan went to David and
relayed the parable unto him. David replied with a judgment was fierce. When It was later pointed out
that he was the one, David without hesitating, owned up and wept bitterly.
Do not hide your sins. Though a thousand and one people may not see it, God’s eyes runs to and fro the
earth. Fornication, lies, drunkenness, stealing, etc, are all opened before God. Humble yourself and
confess them before God. I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
In Luke 19 Jesus told Zaccheus to come down. God knows you and even your generations behind.
Zaccheus owned up immediately and even promised to refund all the people he has defrauded. Jesus
saw his heart and declared that salvation is come to his house. Remember the woman at the well and
Jesus tried to trickle her. Where is your husband? She owned up and told Jesus the truth. When you
come to the altar, don’t feel shy rather open your mouth and confess all to Jesus.
Isaiah 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and
let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him: and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon”. I love to make reference to Naaman and he was given commandment which he
obeyed and was healed. 2 Kings 5:18 “In this thing the Lord pardon thy servant, that when
4
my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand,
and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon thy servant in this thing”.
The bible tells us that we have to believe on Jesus because there is no salvation in any other.
Even the atheists who say they do not believe, when they close their eyes in death, their knees must
certainly bow down.
Salvation is not a progressive experience. Genuine salvation is an instantaneous experience and
when it happens, God will make you to have that Joy you have never had. God will embrace you because
the gap that was created in the garden will no longer be there. Old things would have passed away
because of the newness of life. Salvation makes the difference.
There are blessings in making peace with God and having relationship with Him. Romans 5:1;
Nobody can pluck you out of the hand of God when you are genuinely saved. Justification makes
somebody humble. Whatever challenges you face, through faith, when prayer is offered, such
challenges will be overcome. Salvation will not make one to point accusing finger nor gossip about
brethren or the pastor. A justified person has no love for the ephemeral things of the world.
A justified person would not:
1. Desecrate the Lord’s Day
2. Wear immodest dresses
3. Cannot go into politics
4. Cannot go into drinking alcoholic drinks again. 2Corinthians 5:17
If you are found doing the old things again, check your salvation.
5. Cannot envy his brother probably because he is better placed or
assigned to position
Titus 2:11-12 “For the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that we
should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present
world”. A Christian should live soberly, righteously and godly. The
fruits of the Spirit will manifest in you.
Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation: the Spirit indeed
is willing but the flesh is weak”. Some say they are saved and have graduated over constant prayer
duty. To retain salvation, you have to pray. It is Not only prayer in corporate group but finding time
personally to commune with God. Study the word, fellowship with saints and watch those that you keep
company with. Abstain from all appearances of evil. To retain salvation, you have to rely on God’s grace
continually. Attach yourself to Jesus and His people.
John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”. Listen to the advice of
the elders. You cannot claim to have a perfect relationship with God and disobey the leaders. Our elders
want to guide you jealously until the pearly gates are opened. The elders have always been there for us.
Some have lost the relationship because of carelessness. Do not be discouraged.
Ezekiel 33:26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within
you: and I will take away the stony heart of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of
flesh”. 1John 2:1 “My little children, these things write unto you, that ye sin not. And if
any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous”. Jesus will
5
tell the Father about the sinner that is confessing and asking for mercy and God cannot tell Jesus to
forget about that person because Jesus did died and shed His blood for such a one.
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling. It is not a call of embarrassment or of judgment but to
re-establish the relationship.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE TEACHING
Topic: ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION, A MUST FOR A LOVING RELATIONSHIP
TEACHER: Rev. Dealyn George (Ikot Ewang Region Overseer)
This is the second definite work of grace for everyone who has been
justified thorough the free blood shed for atonement of sin. It is God
who justifies anyone who believes in Him.
God calls us into a new life of holiness and holiness means being like
God in His entirety. In all manner of conversation, in your
relationship with people we must be holy.
When you commit sin, you sin against God and also your fellow
human being. “Justification” takes care of all the outward
transgression. You cannot dwell on justification but to move
forward so as to be in a loving relationship with God and with our
fellow men so that it would be heaven on earth.
Rev. Dealyn George & the Interpreter
Christ’s purpose is to restore broken relationship. If here on earth, it is so calm with the sea of heads at
the camp ground as such that nobody is misbehaving, how much more real that heaven will be so calm
and peaceful. Strive to be there because we would enjoy more in
heaven.
When you are justified, it is just a tip of the iceberg, you have
tasted the Lord and seen how good He is, but there is more
yearning and desire for more of God. This is a deeper
consecration, a closer walk with Him.
Intimacy with God is the only guaranteed relationship that can
bring us close to the gates of heaven. What is the pattern of
prayer for all sous yearning for this experience? Ps. 51: 2,10
6
A section of choir rendition before teaching.
“Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” Create in me a clean
heart, o God; and renew a ‘right spirit’ within me. Messiah saw the glory of God and exclaimed “woe is
me…”
God want us not to be frightened but to approach Him so there can be an exchange of heart because
God will renew that spirit and give a new heart. When that new heart is created in you, then you go with
the fullness of God and your family will be blessed, business and school will be blessed and everyone in
contact with you will be blessed. It is God’s command that we should be holy. May God make us all to be
holy.
(Lev.19:2; 20:7-8) “Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say
unto them, and ye shall be for I am the holy for I the LORD your God am holy.”;
“SANCTIFY yourselves therefore and be ye holy; for I am the LORD your GOD. (8)And ye
shall keep my statutes, and do them I am the LORD which sanctify you.” You cannot sanctify
yourself but you can separate yourself from anything that can defile you. The second part is for God to
do the work of sanctifying the person. You can sanctify yourself by consecrating yourself and allowing
God to have His way in your life. It is then that you will enjoy intimacy with God. The closer you are, the
better you enjoy the fellowship of the brethren.
Who is this commandment given to?
The born again Christians who have been justified by faith and as many that desire it, crying and longing
for the sincere milk. Have a desire for the things of God, empty yourself and allow God to drain you and
fill you.
Is it possible to live holy life?
Yes, It is possible for one to live a holy life in this present age.
Titus tells us of the grace of God that has appeared unto all men teaching us to deny ungodliness and
that we should live soberly, righteously in this present world. Thank God we are counted worthy and
may God help us to remain in that citizenship. This citizenship cannot be bought with money. (Lk.
1:74-75)That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our
enemies might ‘serve him without fear ,In holiness and righteousness before him, all the
days of our life.
The experience of Sanctification is just like the tabernacle in the wilderness. You cannot just jump from
justification to the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. You must follow the steps of justification to sanctification.
Old Testament saints were sanctified (Enoch). May God
achieve that purpose in your life.
Sanctification does not bring suspicion, segregation or any
discrimination. Rather there is unity and love and all the
benefits of sanctification are to be enjoyed when the heart is
newly created. Sanctification would make us one in doctrine
and we teach and believe the same thing in accordance with
the word of God.
We are to submit and teach one thing and not bring people
that would defile the house of God. How much do you desire
to see God? Only those who are pure in heart would see God.

FIRST THURSDAY BIBLE TEACHING
TOPIC: CONNECTING WITH POWER- RELATIONSHIP OF HOLY GHOST
PREACHER:REV. AKIN AJAYI (KWARA DISTRICT OVERSEER)
Micah 3:8 “But truly I am full of power by the
spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to
declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his
sin.”
WHAT IS POWER?
Science defines power as the ability to work. There is electrical
power without which it will be practically impossible to project
Rev. Akin Ajayi & the Interpreter.
the events in this convention because of the gadgets we use.
Without electrical power, all the communication gadgets will not work because they are not connected but
we will be concentrating on the spiritual power today. Micah said he is full of power by the spirit of God.
Many things will be useless in this world without power and as Christians, if we do not have the kind of
power we are talking about cannot make use of us. Holy Ghost is the power from God, power that will
not experience outage. Genesis 1:2 “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness
was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the waters”. In that
situation, the spirit of God was hovering over the water, and it is still doing likewise today so that we can
have the testimony that Micah had. The purpose of this teaching is for us to get acquainted with God so
that in the race to heaven when we have temptation Holy Spirit will help us. All Christians must seek and
get connected to the Holy Ghost. And if you are not yet connected to Him you are not yet complete;
something is missing in your life. We need to get connected to Him so that we will have relationship with
Him and get to heaven successfully.
Holy Spirit’s presence cannot be underrated from the beginning of the world till now. Even men
of old had relationship with Holy Spirit. Zechariah 4:6 “then he answered and spake unto me,
saying, This is the word of the Lord unto errubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power,
but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts”. The prophets of old lived by the Holy Ghost and they
had relationship with Him. God endowed the prophets with power whenever he wanted to use them.
2Chronicles 24:20 “And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the
priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why
transgress ye the commandments of the Lord, that ye cannot prosper? Because ye have
forsaken the Lord, he hath also forsaken you”. The prophet was rebuking Judah because of their
8
waywardness when the power came on him. Nobody could have prophesied like that at that moment
because the Israelites were in sin already and they were quick to stone any prophet that speaks to them
about their sin. All the prophets of old had relationship with the Holy Spirit and their prophecies were
always accurate and precise. They declared the full oracle of God and God stood by them. They were
wonderful instruments in the hand of God in so much that the Bible was given through inspiration. These
prophets are in heaven today looking at us.
If there is a timeone needs the Holy Spirit more, it is now because this is the end time and there
are problems prevailing everyday. We do not know how far we would go into the tribulations before
Jesus comes to take away the saints.
In the end time, we are not left alone. John 14:16 “And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter; that he may abide with you for ever”. The Holy Spirit did
not just disappear with the prophets of old. Rather, the Holy Spirit is here to abide with us forever. How
fortunate we are. No wonder in time of emergencies, He would appear. You need to connect with Him.
Luke 24:49 “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye
in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high”. This is one of the old
promises of the Old Testament but it says “tarry”. One of the conditions is to tarry in prayer and
consecration and faith.
Unfortunately, because people can longer tarry today, there are substitutes which people get. We have no
interest in substitutes and that is why we must tarry and heaven will connect. God says He is ready to give
the Holy Ghost to as many that ask Him.
What about Eligibility?
Amos 3:3 “Can two walk together except they be agreed?” John 14:16 “And I will
pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you
forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him
not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be with
you”. The world cannot receive the Holy Spirit. Who is the world? It refers to sinners because of their
corrupt minds and disposition to the things of the spirit.
Sinners must be saved, saved souls must be sanctified. Salvation and sanctification are doctrines of the
Bible and they are the framework on which the Holy Ghost baptism is rested. No wonder, many churches
are no longer healthy.
Let us move to the realm of the disciples that were the first recipients of this power. If it was
possible in the days of the apostles, it is possible today.
“for John truly baptized with water; but ye shall
baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days
hence………….. and when they were come in, they went
up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and
James, and John, and Andrew, Phillip, and Thomas,
Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of
Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of
James. These all continued with one accord in prayer
and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother
of Jesus, and with his brethren”. Acts 1:5,13and14. For
The Choir Rendition: Come Holy
Spirit, Dark Is The Hour.
ten days of heart searching, consecrations and prayers. They tarried. The upper room story is not just
tales, it happened.
“And when the day of Pentecost was truly come, they were all with one accord in one
place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it
filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven
9
tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.” Acts 2:1-3. God sent the holy spirit
upon them and they had the experience of speaking in tongues – a particular language on earth.
Therefore, Peter preached that day and sinners trembled. About 3,000 souls were saved that day. That is
what the Holy Ghost can do.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:12.We are contending with spiritual powers and you need to be connected so that your
testimonies of many years are not ruined.
“And now, Lord behold their threatening: and grant unto thy servants, that with all
boldness they shall speak thy word, by stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs
and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had
prayed, the place was shaking where they were assembled together; and they were all
filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:29-31.
The prayer that would shake the foundation can only be gotten through the Holy Spirit.
Saul the first king of Israel misbehaved and ended up committing suicide. “And the woman
bare a son and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him.
And the spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between orah
and Eshtaol.” Judges 13:24-25. Samson also misbehaved after the spirit of the Lord had rested upon
him. His was raised to avenge on behalf of the children of Israel but the Devil made him loose that
connection. He made exploits and was a terror to the philistines. I pray that God should help us so that
no man or woman will ruin our lives. “And she said, the philistines be upon thee, Samson. And
he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake
myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him.” Judges 16:20.
The Holy Spirit is useful for us anywhere we go;




The power of the Holy Spirit is the power of service. “But
ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost
is come upon you: and ye shall be witness unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the
earth.” Acts1:8.
The Holy Spirit is a teacher. “But the comforter,

which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, He shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
John14:26.
The Holy Spirit helps us to be orderly. “And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the

The Holy Spirit brings unity to the body of Christ
Give the Holy Spirit a place in your home. If you give the Holy Spirit a place in your home, you will have
peace in that home and you will also enjoy your life. I pray that God delivers all homes in trouble today.
Also, our society at this time is in a mess, corruptions everywhere, troubles everywhere, but a child of
God will not be disturbed by all the troubles in the country. If we as Christians have connections with the
Holy Ghost, we can be of help anywhere we find ourselves, to the society. Do you need this power?

FIRST WEEK FRIDAY BIBLE TEACHING
TOPIC: A PLEASING WALK WITH GOD-RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY GHOST
PREACHER:REV. GABRIEL K. AJAYI (LAGOS REGION OVERSEER)
1John 1:5-7 “This then is the message which we
have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is
light, and in him is no darkness at all. (6)If we say
that we have fellowship with him, and walk in
darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (7)But if we
walk in the Light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus
Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”One’s

relationship with God is the mother of all relationships; other
relationships are a by-product of our relationship with God. Walking to please God who requires nothing
short of perfection is a challenge. Gen.17, God told Abraham, a friend for many years, 99yrs old to walk
before Him and be perfect. Consider Revelations chapters 2 and 3 in the letters to the churches, we
would see God’s expectations. May God help us to fix whatever is faulty in our lives.
Pleasing a God who cannot be deceived, who sees the darkness as if it is in light, who sees us just as we
are, is a challenge. 2 Tim. 2:19… ‘The foundation of God standeth sure…”Thank God for the 2nd
part of the topic. Relationship with the Holy Ghost is the solution to the challenge. The camp meeting is
for spiritual repositioning. As our leaders have loudly and clearly told us, this is a year of spiritual reengineering. By God’s grace, we are moving to a higher
ground. As we ascend to higher grounds spiritually, God will
move us to higher plains in other areas. Ephesians 2:20-22
“And are built upon the foundation of the apostles
and the prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief
cornerstone;(21) in whom all the building fitly framed
together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
(22) in whom ye also are builded together for an
habitation of God through the spirit”. Christian

experiences are foundational experiences. We must build on it. It is not a certificate. It is expected to be
the beginning of newness of life. It marks the start of walking with God. Only those who walk with God
in spirit and truth can reach the destination. The end of our journey on earth is death or rapture. The
end of our physical journey matters little. Our goal is to end well and to end with God.
If you are not saved, Jesus can still save you. Everyone start a journey with a destination in view. May
God help us to please Him. It is better to please God and be despised by the world than to please the
world and be despised by God. This world is not a friend of Grace. It is filled with trials, temptation, hills
and valleys. Hence, we need an unbroken relationship with God.
2Thess.3:6-7 “Now we command you, brethren, in
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw
yourselves from every brother that walketh
disorderly, and not after the tradition which he
received of us. (7) For yourselves know how ye ought
to follow us: for we behave not ourselves disorderly
among you.” On this journey, we should often pause and
reflect on how our journey has been. One could stand and say,
‘I have been saved many years ago’ the question is ‘Has the

journey from then been with the Holy Ghost? This passages talks of ‘Brothers’-once
saved- that walked disorderly. May God help us to right ourwrong.
What is the pleasing of a pleasing walk with God? Stripped of technicalities it means,
PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY. Col.1:10 “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God”. 1Thess.2:12
“That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory”.
Walking to please God is walking in newness of life. 2Cor 5:6-7 “Therefore we are always
confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
(for we walk by faith, not by sight:)” Col.3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those
things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God”. Gal.2:18-20 “For
if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through
the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto Christ”. Jude 20&21 “But ye, beloved,
building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the holy ghost, keep yourself in
the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life”.
Walking to please God is walking in UPRIGHTNESS
Psalm 15:1-2 “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
(2)He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his
heart”. Ephesians 4:1“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk
worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called”. Jesus is the perfect example. In walking with
the Holy Spirit, we are not self-centered. We do not compare ourselves with others rather we look unto
Jesus as individual. 1 Corinthians 13:12-13 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but
12
then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
(13)And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is
charity.” Also, it is not ours to praise ourselves rather we ask God what is left undone.
Beyond our Christian experiences, we must grow.2 Peter 1:5-10 “And beside this, giving all
diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; (6)And to knowledge
temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; (7)And to godliness
brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. (8)For if these things be in you and
abound, they make you that you shall neither be
barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord
Jesus Christ. (9)But he that lacketh these things is
blind and cannot see afar off and hath forgotten that
he was purged from his old sins. (10)Wherefore the
rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling
an election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall

attained God’s standard. Philip admonishes us to work out our
salvation with the fear of the sin and with trembling.
Walking to please God required walking in the goodness of LOVE. God will not lower his standard to suit
our weakness. However, he will give us the grace and help us to meet his standards. The song writer
wrote ‘The arm of flesh will fail you’.
To walk, pleasing God, we need empowerment. This power is far beyond salvation, sanctification and
Baptism of Holy Spirit Gen.1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them”. Adam, despite his being in God’s image and
likeness fell from Grace. Sanctification or salvation washes our sins but does not make us sin proof. We
need to constantly abide in Christ and walk with the Holy Ghost. May our light not become darkness and
may we not be careless with our souls.2Cor.6:16 “And what agreement hath the temple of God
with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them,
and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people”. A close relationship
with God empowers us to overcome temptation, sin and all that beset. Zach.4:6 “Then he
answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the word of the Lord unto erubbabel, saying,
not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord of Hosts”. Phil.4:13 “I can do
all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. We need a day-by-day relationship with the
Holy Spirit because He is our intercessors. Rom.8:26 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our
infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the spirit itself
maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered”. The Holy Spirit is our
comforter. He comforts us when we pass through the tribulations of life. What Satan planned to end the
relationship with God, resulted in the beginning of a new relationship.

Gen.5:1-24; Heb.11:5-6 “By faith, Enoch was

is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him”. Enoch pleased God and God took him. Noah also pleased God. Abraham, the friend of God
also pleased God. He walked with God. Amos.3:3 “Can two walk together, except they be
agreed”? In this life, we can see faith, consecration, humility, truthfulness. Gen.39:2&3 “And the
Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his
master the Egyptian. (3)And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord
made all that he did to prosper in his hand”. Joseph also underwent series of temptations but in
all he did not sin. He pleased God.
Moses spoke with God mouth to mouth. He consecrated himself. Heb.11:25&26 “Choosing rather
to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season;
(26)Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he
had respect unto the recompense of the reward”. The Hebrew children, Daniel and also the
Apostles gave their all. If we must make heaven, we must have what they had and do as they did. The
requirements cannot be exhausted but the Holy Spirit Himself is the guide. Like the prophets, the
apostles, eternity awaits us. Nobody serves God in vain. If we have the consecration, humility and
faith that it takes, we will be pleasing to him. Romans13:11 “And that, knowing the time, that
now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than we
believed”.
However hard the road had been or however far we have fallen, God has given us the grace to make
amends because the night is far spent. Romans13:12-13 “The night is far spent, the day is at
hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of
light. (13)Let us walk honestly, as in the day: not in rioting and drunkenness, not in
chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying”. Not in walking disorderly or in
professing God and acting otherwise, Romans13:14 “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
make not provision for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof”. God is ready to reposition us and
take us to a higher level.

TITLE: IF THOU CAN BELIEVE
PREACHER: BRO. JACOB AMADU –NIGER DISTRICT OVERSEER
And Jesus said unto him, “If thou canst believe, all
things are possible to him that believeth.” The word of Jesus
to us today is that if we can believe God for those things we
are asking for, then we shall have them. God is the God of
possibilities and everything is possible only if you believe. The
blessings of God are not for the jokers, doubters and
on-lookers. Rather it is for those who are steadfast and focus
on Him.
It is possible for everybody to be blessed but you have
to make up your mind to get that thing form God through
faith.

If you make Jesus your friend, He will not fail you.
How did Abraham become a friend of God? James 2:23
“And the scripture was fulfilled which saith,
Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto
him for righteousness: and he was called the
Friend of God”. Abraham first believed God before his
faith was counted unto him for righteousness. We must
believe that God is a righteous and holy God and to be his
friend, we must also be righteous and holy. Our sins must
have been forgiven.
Rev. Emmanuel Nnaji And The

John 15:14 “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you”. Jesus wants to
make you His friend for a special purpose. It is because He has special packages for His friends. He says
command ye me… That means God wants to give you whatever you want only if you ask Him in faith.
Blind Bartimeus was given that opportunity and he made use of it.
Exodus 33:17-18 “And the Lord said unto
Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast

over the nations that gathered against him.

TITLE: LIVING WATER OF SALVATION
PREACHER: SIS. UCHE AGBOOLA (JOS OVERSEER)
In the last days, that great day of the feast, Jesus sent out
an invitation “If any man thirst, let him come and drink of
the water of life”. What is this living water? It is the grace of
God in man that satisfies. In the world today, many people are
looking for what will satisfy them. Some try it in education and
read to the highest level, some seek it in wealth, some in power
and fame and all these things are nothing. Riches can’t give
satisfaction. Solomon had opportunity of having everything but
Sis.Uche Agboola & Interpreter
there was no satisfaction and he gave a conclusion. The only thing
is to fear God and do His commandment. That is the living water. Isaiah 55:1 “HO, every one that
thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea,
come, buy wine and milk without money and without price”. Salvation is free, you don’t have to
pay any money.
Jesus is the jewel of heaven and He has paid the price for the living water. May God help us to
get it tonight. That was why Jesus told that woman of Samaria – free living water. Jesus didn’t pass
through His normal route because He knew somebody was yearning for the water. Before we left our
houses, Jesus has been here and he is beside you. The issues in your life He says He will settle it tonight.
Jesus sat at Jacob’s well waiting for the woman as He is waiting for you tonight. The woman came and
Jesus asked her to give Him water. She was surprised because He was a Jew and Jesus replied that if she
knew the person talking she would have asked for the living water. She went into a conversation with
Jesus and He asked for her husband. She said she does not have the husband and Jesus told her she said
the truth. Is there any area of your life you don’t want God to go to. That is why Jesus is here.
Issue of eternal life is here. You should discuss everything with Him tonight. I don’t know your
problem, maybe it is sin. The woman was honest but Jesus had come to her. If there is anything hidden
in your life that you can’t discuss with anybody? Jesus is here for you to discuss it with him tonight. Jesus
wants to address the problem and you are going to be delivered. She was interested in the living water
and Jesus made her understand that she was an adulterer which was punishable. If you are in that
situation, Jesus is here to settle it.
Her eyes began to open because Jesus told her what her life was all about. God knows you all.
We thank God for Jesus because he was wounded for all our sins. If it is sin, sickness or lack, it will be
terminated by Jesus this night. This woman’s heart was honest and it was open to the gospel message.
She asked Jesus a question that had been in her heart for a long time which is to know the true place of
worship. But Jesus gave her a reply that God is looking for people that will worship him in spirit and
truth. God can deliver you here. And He will give you all your heart
desires this night. Come and get it tonight.

This is the day and time of victory. I want to believe that
everybody here needs total victory. You have to put forth some
effort and you will gain the victory because God is every ready to
bless. God has brought before you an open door of opportunity.
Opportunity is a season when something can be done without
hindrance. Right now is an opportunity to get saved because this
is the right time. This is the day of salvation.
The opportunity was opened to Elisha and the fifty sons of the

By: Rev. Aaron Olamijulo (Regional Overseer, Abuja)
I came to this gospel and heard that any soul that longs after
righteousness shall be satisfied and God satisfied me with salvation
after I prayed. I pressed forward and he sanctified and baptized me

tried to rewrite my story but God gave me victory.

SALVATION FROM SIN AND ESCAPE FROM AUTO-ACCIDENT
By: Rev. Emmanuel Moh (Director of Worship, WECA Hqtrs., Anthony)
I thank God because He loves me. I used to ask why people were always weeping in this Church but
when I came to God I also wept and God saved me. I went further and He sanctified and baptized me.
After all this, I was told that the Christian race is tough and that I cannot sustain my walk with the Lord
and that I would backslide in 5 months but to the glory of God , He has kept me for many years now. I
have been involved in accidents in which I was the only survivor. God has been faithful.
DELIVERANCE FROM SMOKING AND HEALING

By: Bro. Jonathan Yisa (Minister, Minna Station, Niger State).
I thank God for the saving power that saved my soul. I was a
smoker, a drunk and a flirt but God delivered me. I thank God for
this Apostolic Faith church; I came in through my in-law. I did not
know more than salvation but when I came, God sanctified and
baptized me with the Holy Spirit. My friends threatened me that
my new life would not last two weeks but thank God that He has
kept me since 1978. Even though many waters have passed under
the bridge, the grace of GOD has been sufficient.
Bro. Jonathan Yisa
On April 9, I went to the restroom but I was there for one hour and it was very uncomfortable. I did not
know that my bladder was blocked. Subsequently, I had to go about with a urine bag. During that
period, I suffered from pile and heart burn. At some point, I could not walk. I was asked if I could make it
to camp meeting and I replied in faith that I would. The urine bag came off itself. I went through a
medical check-up and the doctor, after a series of questions confirmed that there was no complication.
On the 16th of June, God gave me total victory. The devil threatened, but God healed me.

God brought me into the gospel at the age of 19 and since then God
had helped me through. In 1966, God helped me to join the choir
and orchestra. Since then, God has helped me for 50 years.
Masqueraders came from time to time while we went to and fro
services and practices. Although women are not supposed to see
them, I passed through the road most times at midnight and God
protected me. On a day, the road through Sagamu was bad so, we

passed through Itoikin and our vehicle developed a fault. I told a brother to let us go home. We trekked
all through midnight and my body ached heavily the next day but God healed me. God married for me in
the gospel and gave me a faithful husband. God comforted me when my husband passed on and He
provided for my needs. I thanked God for the D.S who God brought into office purposely for my sake. I
pray God to please keep me till I meet Him in glory. I praise God.
GOD SAVED ME FROM WANDERING AND GAVE ME A HUSBAND
By: Sis. Eluan Omag (Sunday sch. teacher, Bayelsa Station, Bayelsa State)
I thank God for His faithfulness. Though born into the gospel, I was
backslidden for about 8 years. Last year, I felt the burden to return
home, I came and God saved me and sanctified me. Later on, God
baptized me. He gave me what I had searched for, that is, a husband.
On the 14th of July, the wedding took place in Bayelsa. I had picked up
my instrument and God helped me through my sight-reading class. God
has done wonderful things for me and I know He will take me and my
family to heaven.

TESTIMONY ON SALVATION AND GOD’S CARE
By: Bro. Nathaniel Agu (Zonal Coordinator, Umuahia Station, Abia State)
I thank God for giving me an opportunity to testify of His love. I was
a wanderer in Enugu. It was there Jesus cornered me up and gave
me the Christian experiences of salvation, Sanctification and the
baptism of the Holy Spirit. We had a land having boundaries with
police authorities; they prevented us from working on the land. God
fought for us and changed the administrator in charge. And On the
25th of July, God in a wonderful way provided money to fence the
perimeters of the land.

By: Bro. Sylvester Effiong Ekpe (Ikot Ewang Overseer, Akwa Ibong State)
Though I am from an Islamic background, God brought me into the gospel
and saved me. Since 1967, He has been my God through thick and thin.
On the first Thursday in July this year, I was sick and I could not dress up
to go out. I was at the verge of death. The driver came and found me lying
on bed. My wife was called and some pastors were called and God made
me whole. Despite the economic depression, God brought my people to
camp meeting and many of them are around. Praised be to God!

I thank God for the opportunity to be born into a godly family. I never saw my

wanted to go, I could not reply because my heart was still here. Ten years
later, God brought me back. Persecution arose from my family members
however, to the glory of God, all but one of my siblings are here. One day my
house caught fire but myneighbors tried to put it out.
God intervened and put out the fire himself.

submit and I eventually married the man he chose for me and though he has gone
to glory before me, God has been taking care of me. I praise his name.
