August 2016 NEWSLETTER We are on schedule to utilize Phase One starting mid-August. In addition to residence wing, Phase One also includes a dining room, new nurse’s station, housekeeping/laundry supervisor office, and administrative offices. We anticipate to be in the new chapel by the end of August. Before September, preliminary groundwork and construction will begin on Phase Two. A 90-day window is targeted for the completion of Phase Two which leads us toward the end of the year. This phase will consist of getting into the existing care center building by adding two more dining rooms that will be constructed and those will take some current office space and some existing resident rooms out of circulation and some relocation will be required. We will be relocating all of our residents from C-hall due to that wing being remodeled in Phase Two. When completed, it will look very similar to the new 19-bed wing that was built. The rooms will be completely remodeled; unlike the new wing, they won’t have the same square footage or structure of the new wing since we’re working within an existing square footage. There will be more single rooms with showers and we will still have some double occupancy rooms.
