During our rides (we spend around six hours in the saddle daily although sometimes more) we can stop to relax, take photos, enjoy the view, catch our (and our horses’) breath, have a snack, drink some water, make a bathroom stop, etc. Safety is paramount at all times during horse riding (especially when in remote areas).
