Exclusive "gaucho parties" are
organized in this deluxe
estancia. This property was
owned by the founder of San
Antonio de Areco and is
nowadays run by one of its
descendants. One of the
main attractions in Los
Patricios is its impressive main
house area, formed by an
impossing forty acres park, a
natural lake, barns, stables,
polo field and carriage driving
paths.
Built by Pedro Luro in the XIX
century, Dos Talas is one of
the most important estancias
in Argentina. Its magnificent
40 hectare (98 acres) park,
designed by Carlos Thays,
surrounds the main house. Its
chapel, a replica of a French
chapel, contains works of art
of French origin. Its library,
with more than 3,000
Spanish, French and Italian
books published during the
XVIII, XIX and XX century, is
one of the most important
ones.
The building has a colonial
architecture typical of the late
XIX century and early XX
century: ground floor
construction with rooms
aligned in a row surrounded
by a roofed gallery. It has
2,000 hectares (4,940 acres)
and the main house is
surrounded by an old grove.
Juan Gerónimo is a traditional
Tudor-style estancia founded
in 1920. Its 4,000 hectares
(9884 acres) are located in
the World Natural Biosphere
Reserve UNESCO,
overlooking Samborombón
Bay. A wide variety of wildlife
can be observed: axis deers,
white herons, royal lapwings,
and various other bird species.
The magnificent Italian style
farmhouse, built in 1890 by
General Richieri, is
surrounded by 300 hectares
El Rosario de Areco is a
colonial style estancia whose
main house was built in 1892.
It has an extense park of 14
hectares (34 acres) with a
great variety of trees, such as
the centenary "Ubajaí",
brought from Entre Ríos
province by the current
owners´ancestors.
This estancia was founded at
the beginning of the XIX
century. The main house was
built in French style. The
guesthouse, has a large
sleeping room with changing
room and showers. There are
more than 200 hectares (494
acres) of a superb park and a
great neogothic chapel. La
Concepción is famous for its
polo tradition. The polo fields,
are available for those who
enjoy this sport.
Located on the banks of
Tapalqué river at the foot of
Olavarría Hills, La Isolina's
english style main house was
built in 1920 and its furniture
has remained the same since
then. A 10 hectare (24 acres)
park surrounds the main
building.

downtown Buenos Aires.
