HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hard to believe 2013 is here. I
hope everyone had Happy and Safe Holidays. Some
Sitzmarkers ventured to Breckenridge to kick-start the
season – or headed north to Marquette to ring in the New
Year. The snow has finally started around here, so let’s all
do our special snow dances to keep it coming.
Our favorite sport is not cheap, so we’re always on the
lookout for bargains. Wisconsin has an amazing deal this
season. For only $94.90, you can get 1 free lift ticket for
each of the 14 participating resorts. If you go to at least 3,
you’ve already saved money. See the printable flyer in this
issue with all the details. In addition to that deal, CMSC
and Wilmot Mountain are offering a Lift & Lesson special
for $23 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. See page 7 in
this issue for details.
Breckenridge has come and gone. It was a fun and
successful trip, lead by Dawn Ahlgren and Keith
Schneiring. See pictures in this issue.
Alouise led a great group for NYE weekend in Marquette.

The Indianhead trip is this weekend (MLK Jr. weekend).
It is full, with 31 adults and 8 kids going! The recap will be
featured in the February issue of Cold Tales.

Holiday Party
HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope everyone
enjoyed their respective holidays and
rung in the new year safely!
On December 15, several Sitzmark
members and guests descended upon
Tari & DB Sedlacko’s home in Round
Lake. As usual, their lovely home was
grandly decorated for the holidays.
Party-goers brought a nice selection of
food and Sitzmark provided a plethora
of beverages.
Folks enjoyed socializing and the fun
white elephant game (or rob-yourneighbor as some call it). Many items
were stolen, since so many useful or
desired gifts were presented. See the

the festivities and the missing gavel!

The season started with a fun trip to
Breckenridge, Colorado – December
6-10, 2012. Here are several photos

of Sitzmarkers having an incredible
time at one of the coolest winter sport
locations. Tough to go wrong with this

Join us for a fun weekend of outdoor activities: snowshoeing,
cross-country skiing, and hiking at challenging Kettle Moraine

A: These vouchers can be used at any
lift cashier at Wilmot Mountain on
Tuesday & Thursdays (not including
Holidays) and be rung up for a $23
lift ticket with the option of adding:
RENTALS: Skis $10, Snowboard $20,
Helmet $10 (plus a $10 refundable
deposit for all rentals) during the
2012-13 Season.
BONUS: If a club member wants to
share the experience with a friend,
they can request two vouchers and
take a complimentary group lesson.
Anyone who uses these vouchers
must check in by 6pm, especially if
they want to take the last group lesson
of the day at 7pm.
