The Liga Bancomer MX is proud to undertake this project in which we trust faithfully. On different occasions we have expressed the importance of the development of our youth teams has on the Mexican soccer family. In football, as in life, young people are the basis to achieve a better future. In Mexican, we have been enhancing, upgrading and increasing our competitions of minor divisions for the last five years. We started with the U-20 and U-17 tournaments that later changed from long to short tournaments; later the U15 competition was born, which takes place twice a year, and they are now played every weekend; we also host the U13 and U15 international tournaments, for which three of the most important leagues in the world are gathered here today. First, I want to welcome our guests on behalf of all those who make up the Liga Bancomer MX. The Bundesliga (Germany) and the Major League Soccer (United States) are examples for the family of world football leagues and we are proud to be able to share and exchange knowledge and methods. Of course, most importantly, together we promote the football level for young players, and that they may accumulate as many experiences in these two weeks of competition, not only in the sports but also in values as people. I hope our guests feel at home, Mexico welcomes you with open arms. Eight clubs will dispute the U15 International tournament title, which will take place from Tuesday, August 11th thru August 23rd: Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Dallas, Chicago Fire, America, Guadalajara, Atlas and Pachuca. They will all exhibit their talent in this tournament to be held in Mexico City on the courts of the training center and the grand finale will be held in the historic Azteca Stadium. Those who compose the Liga Bancomer MX and the Mexican Football Federation, from the administrative area to the Referees, are very excited about this second edition of the U15 International tournament; live these weeks with the same passion as the players on the field. The League Bancomer MX, is always looking to improve and better the development of the Mexican soccer, and we are proud to welcome the Bundesliga, MLS and our four representatives. The ball will start rolling, as will the dreams of the future stars of international football. Enrique Bonilla Executive President LIGA MX / ASCENSO MX Clubs América Club America was founded on October 12, 1916, in Mexico City. ¨The Eagles¨ are one of the two teams that have participated in all national football tournaments since the professional era. It has the historic Azteca Stadium, as their venue for their local matches. In the 1965-1966 season, ¨the Eagles¨ won their first title in the professional era. With the birth of the leagues in 1970-1971, they won their second championship, beating the Devils of Toluca, and therefore becoming the first winning team with this new format. The 80´s were a memorable decade for Club America. They earned five titles in that time period. They had difficult times until the summer of 2002 when under the command of Manuel Lapuente they conquered their ninth star. Throughout its history, they have had many high level players, some emblematic as: Alfredo Tena, Cristóbal Ortega, Carlos Reinoso, Héctor Miguel Zelada, Cuauhtemoc Blanco, among others. Recently, the ¨America’s Eagles¨ have lived great moments. They have played three finals in the last five tournaments, crowned in 2013 closing and opening 2014 before Cruz Azul and Tigres, respectively. Currently, they are champions of the Concacaf Champions League and will participate in the next FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place in December 2015. Atlas ¨The foxes¨, mote that is known to Club Atlas, is a team of Jalisco, which was founded on August 15, 1916. It currently belongs to Grupo Salinas and the bench is headed by the Uruguayan Gustavo Matosas. The Red and Black team is characterized by its loyal and passionate fans, despite having only one title in the professional soccer league, dating back to the 1950-1951 season. Precisely, the only title won by Atlas was earned against their fiercest rival, The Chivas Rayadas of Guadalajara, in an unforgettable finale, which will always be remembered by the Guadalajara fans. After a dream stage, the foxes descended to the second division in the 1953-1954 season, although they only lasted one year in that category before they returned to the maximum circuit. The story repeated itself, as Atlas descended in 1971 and 1978. However, on both occasions the institution took only a year to retrieve the category, as was previous the case. In addition to a League title, the Guadalajara club won four Cup titles in the 45-46, 49-50, 61-62 and 67-68. Guadalajara Club Guadalajara is one of the most traditional in Mexico. One of its main features has been to play throughout its history with only Mexican players. The colors red and white, and the striped shirt, are its distinctive. They nicknamed them “Chivas” or “Sacred flock”. They represent the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, and play in the spectacular Omnilife Stadium. The Club was founded in 1906. Club Guadalajara has 11 league titles in the maximum circuit. The maximum idol in the history of the Rojiblancos is Salvador “Chava” Reyes (1936-2012), who is the maximum scorer of the Club. Currently, the team has a representative in world football: Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, the Manchester United striker, formerly of Real Madrid, was formed in the minor divisions of Guadalajara. The U-15 division of the Club has been a great leader of the tournaments organized by the LIGA MX. Chivas has obtained the Championship four times: 2011, 2013 (twice) and 2014. They are directed by Miguel Angel Gamero, 32-year-old, originally from the city of Guadalajara. The coach has been working with the youth teams of Guadalajara for more than five years. Pachuca The birthplace of the Mexican soccer takes place in Pachuca, in 1901 one of the firs clubs in the country was founded, and it took them close to a century to find their golden age. During the Amateur period, Pachuca was a major player of the Mexican football, and they won three league titles and two Cup titles in a span of 15 years; but once they reached the professional level there was a lack of titles. Their ups and downs between soccer’s first division and the second division were constant, up until the 1990s, the re-engineering of the directors made the Tuzos a highly competitive team. In 1999 they earned their first professional Championship, which triggered more than one decade of winnings, of which they can boast of five local titles, four of the CONCACAF Champions League and a Copa Sudamericana. Its maximum players fall into this golden age: Miguel Calero (RIP), Pablo Hernán Gómez, Damián Álvarez, Gabriel Caballero, Jaime Correa, Christian Giménez and as coaches Javier Aguirre and Enrique Meza. Borussia Mönchengladbach Founded in 1900, it is one of the icon clubs in the Bundesliga since the 1970s to the present. With an uncertain and hesitant beginning due to the first and second world war, the Borussia began taking force in the 1960s when they got their first promotion to the Bundesliga in 1960, after descending, they returned to the maximum German circuit in 1965, and five years later they earned their first title during the 1969-1970 season. Under the guidance of Hennes Weisweiler, the team of Gladbach were able to earn three Bundes Championships during those years, a German Cup and a UEFA Cup, the coach left in the year of 1975, but his teachings lasted until the end of the decade earning the team a Tri-Championship by winning the 1976 and 1977 seasons; and they finished the decade with the 1979 UEFA Cup. In addition, Borussia can boast of two more Cup titles and second place in the 1977 UEFA Champions Cup, when they lost against Liverpool. One of their greatest player´s during the golden age of the 70´s was Jupp Heynckes, as well as Berti Vogts y Rainer Bonhof, and later came the legendary Lothar Matthaüs and recently Marco Reus. Eintracht Frankfurt Eintracht Frankfurt is the name of a German FC with a tradition of more than 115 years; they play in the Bundesliga, the highest German division. Their stadium is the Commerzbank-Arena with a capacity for 51,500 fans. Last season they finished in ninth place. They nicknamed them the Eagles and in the 2007-2008 season, a Mexican footballer played in the Club: Aarón Galindo. Speaking of the U15 team, last season they were runner-up in the South Regional League, which is the highest division for the German U15 teams. Eintracht Frankfurt scored more points than in any other season, however they remained behind Stuttgart. Internationally, the Club can boast a great success this year; they were champions of the Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup in Texas, under the management of their coach, Anouar Ddaou. Ddaou is the coach of Eintracht Frankfurt U-15 team since the summer of 2014, before he led the U-17 team of the SV Wehen Wiesbaden where he won the Championship and the Hessen Cup. He is also the director of an Elite school of sports and holds a degree in economics focused on finance. Chicago Fire Chicago Fire is one of the franchises that make up the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States, which has its headquarters in the city of Chicago in the State of Illinois. The Fire or The Men in Red, as they are usually called, was founded in 1997 in honor of those who died in the great fire of Chicago in 1971. The Fire managed to become champion in their first disputed tournament, in 1998, reaching the finale against the D.C. United, who won with a score of 2-0. They have also won four US Open Cups, which is the oldest event of the American Union; they won the competitions in 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2006. The Chicago Fire will compete for the second time in the U15 International tournament and they reached the finals in the first edition, where they lost to Los Tuzos of Pachuca. FC Dallas FC Dallas is a Club with great history in the Major League Soccer (MLS); they were one of the founders in 1995. Since its beginnings they have had a relationship with Mexico, Hugo Sánchez was the first player of the institution. The team played their first match on April 14, 1996, in the Cotton Bowl against San José Clash. In 2004 they changed their name, it ceased to be Dallas Burn and became FC Dallas. The colors that represent them are red, white and blue in honor of the colors of the flags of the United States and State of Texas. In 2010 the club earned its first Western Conference title by winning against LA Galaxy by three goals to zero. 12:00 2 12:00 12:00 VS 1 VS VS 12:00 VS 10:10 2 10:10 10:10 VS 2 Viernes Friday Freitag VS 1 14 VS 10:10 VS 1 Jueves Thursday Donnerstag 2 1 2 1 15 12:00 VS 12:00 VS 10:10 VS 10:10 VS 3 2 1 2 1 Sábado Saturday Samstag 16 17 Lunes Monday Montag 18 Martes Tuesday Dienstag 19 12:00 VS 12:00 VS 10:10 VS 10:10 VS 4 2 1 2 1 CLUBES TEAMS CLUBS 12:00 VS 12:00 VS 10:10 VS 10:10 VS 5 2 1 2 1 Jueves Thursday Donnerstag FC DALLAS EINTRACHT FRANKFURT HORA - TIME - FAHRPLAN ATLAS 2 1 2 1 20 AMÉRICA 12:00 VS 12:00 VS 10:10 VS 10:10 VS 6 MIércoles Wednesday Mittwoch FASE DE GRUPOS - GROUP STAGES - GRUPPENPHASE Domingo Sunday Sonntag DESCANSO / REST DAY / RUHETAG 13 AGOSTO 2015 I AUGUST, 2015 I AUGUST 2015 12:00 VS 12:00 VS 10:10 VS 10:10 VS 7 Viernes Friday Freitag 2 1 2 1 1 2 GUADALAJARA Sábado Saturday Samstag PACHUCA CHICAGO FIRE FINAL AZTECA FINAL 22 CANCHA - FIELD - FELD BORUSSIA MÖNCHENGLADBACH 21 CALENDARIO OFICIAL DE JUEGO I OFFICIAL GAME SCHEDULE I OFICIAL SPIELPLAN DESCANSO / REST DAY / RUHETAG Regulations In this section you will find articles from the rules of competition where the following topics are mentioned: participating clubs, competition format, Groups, Points and the tie-breaking criteria format.
