2011 Trenza Obispan
2013 Tangent Pinot Gris- 92 Points Wine Enthusiast
This vintage has aromas of black olive, bacon, leather, and a hint
of black pepper. There is an earthy quality to it as well. This wine is
fantastically jammy with soft, supple tannins. With a medium body, it
is an easy drinker. The Grenache and oak gives it an ever so slight
confectious sweetness. It rounds out with black olive on the finish.

Aromatics of orange blossom, pineapple, grapefruit and a hint of pepper.
This vintage is medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Concentrated
flavors of ripe peaches, tangerine, and green apple give way to steely
flavors of lemon juice and lime peel, all encased in strong, crisp, lively

2012 Baileyana El Gordo Chardonnay
Big toasted oak, marshmallow, cantaloupe, peach, and
buttery aromas. This El Gordo Chardonnay has a rich, creamy
mouthfeel and is full bodied. There is an oaky sweetness to
the mouthfeel with smooth, silky tannins. Flavors of honey
and vanilla are prevalent throughout the wine as well as on

WE ARE- Kate and Dave Hacker
WE WORK- Dave is a biologist for the California Department of Fish and
Wildlife. Kate is the Environmental Programs Manager for the County of SLO
Public Works Department.
WE JOINED- 9 years ago, when our oldest son was an infant. We came to
Baileyana to wine taste with Dave’s parents and couldn’t resist the wines, the
view, and the relaxing atmosphere.
WE RECOMMEND- Bringing a group (with the kids) for a picnic, wine, and
some bocce!
WE REMEMBER- Kate has enjoyed many Sunday “mom’s afternoon out”
gatherings out on the patio. Did you know you can have waived tasting fees for
four friends if you are a member? What a perk!
WE DRINK- Kate loves the chardonnays, but especially the El Gordo. Dave’s
drink of choice will always be an IPA.

This is a dry style Riesling; Crisp and refreshing! Orange
blossom and citrus notes swirl around characteristic petrol
aromas. Grapefruit and stone fruit flavors shine throughout,
while juicy acidity and minerality round out this delightful wine.

2012 La Pristina Chardonnay
This vintage of Chardonnay has a tropical bouquet full of ripe
pineapple, melon and apricot. The restrained, elegant oak
influence brings forth notes of almond and vanilla while a
balanced acidity highlights the lemon-lime flavors upon the
palate. It finishes softly, allowing for the opportunity of an
array of food pairings or simply enjoyed as a glass on its own.

2013 La Entrada Pinot Noir- New Vintage!
2012 Halcon Rojo Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir is complex and layered, with aromas of earth and
mushroom. Characteristics of cherry, cola and vanilla are entwined
with eucalyptus and smoked cedar. Bright red fruit blends with
spice and balanced acidity. Silky tannins with a medium body
are prevalent in a nice oak to acid balance, complimented by
mouthwatering fruit flavors on the finish.

This Pinot Noir has aromas of cherry and raspberry
accompanied by mocha, root beer, anise, and sweet barbeque
sauce. Silky tannins with a very smooth mouthfeel balanced
well with a light acidity. A nice oak influence rounds out the
body of the wine and it has a nice, long raspberry-chocolate
