FORMER PATIENT GIVES BACK TO REHAB FOUNDATION Michael Gerl was just a toddler when he was first introduced to the Rehabilitation Centre for Children. Born with cerebral palsy, Michael credits learning to walk independently to the therapists at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children who encouraged and supported him. Now 23 and a successful entrepreneur and radio show host, Michael is a strong believer in giving back. He set out to raise money for CRF to help other children and youth. This spring marked his 3rd Annual Michael Gerl Hockey Classic, a women’s hockey tournament featuring players from Manitoba Women’s Junior Hockey League. In three years he has raised over $8,561 for CRF; funds which will be used to help children and youth living with disabilities and special needs. Thank you Michael for all you do for CRF and the many children and families you have helped. E-NEWSLETTER AVAILABLE! Receive this newsletter in your in-box.
