VPMS controls all kind of ingest processes, material movements and file conversions in addition to the supply of
material for editing and playout, and file export to many different formats and platforms.
The VPMS Media Asset Management system is a modular and flexible solution that can be used for small systems
or multi-site enterprise solutions. VPMS’s central database contains all job information and metadata, and includes a
workflow engine which manages all assets and processes. The VPMS system adapts to the physical limitations of any
hardware with simple licensing and secure failover mechanism.
VPMS ships with a rich set of client applications and offers a service-oriented architecture (SOA) where all
functionalities of the system are implemented in discrete service modules accessible through web services.
