AllCare Medical was established in 2001 as the first concierge medical practice in New England. Since its inception, patients from Boston and around the world have received the highest quality primary and cardiovascular care whenever and wherever needed. Direct access for patients to academic medical centers. AllCare physicians are faculty members and provide inpatient medical care at Harvard University’s teaching hospitals — Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Calum MacRae, MD, PhD I am a cardiologist and geneticist whose research work focuses on the genomics and biology of cardiovascular disease. I feel privileged to be a physician during medical science’s most dynamic time in hundreds of years. Joining AllCare allows me to partner with my patients, offering them the best traditional care that is uniquely personal while navigating the very latest approaches to health. u Chief, Cardiovascular Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Harvard Medical School u Clinical Director, Genomic Medicine Program, BWH u Cardiologist/Internist, Brigham and Women’s Hospital Broad experience with telemedicine. For patients who travel or live abroad, AllCare physicians utilize their expertise with telemedicine to provide a single point of control and coordination for longitudinal medical management. John Levinson, MD, PhD Cardiac specialty care. In addition to primary medical care, AllCare patients receive academic-level cardiac specialty care. This integrated approach allows us to care for the whole patient without limitation and is a significant benefit in enabling specialist management of cardiovascular issues whether for prevention or treatment. I have been incredibly lucky in life in many ways, not least of all to have found medicine, the career for which I seem to have been born. Since 2001, AllCare has allowed me to bring my medical practice and my skills as a physician to an entirely new level, with time to focus not just on the disease or medication or presenting symptoms but on all of that and more. Most importantly, I believe in not just caring for the patient… but caring about the patient. Proactive, highly personalized medical care. While in most traditional primary care practices each physician has thousands of patients, and most concierge practices have 300 to 600 patients, AllCare physicians operate at a fraction of those levels. Keeping our size small ensures we keep our patients on track at all times…in the office, at the hospital, and importantly, in between visits. u President & Founder, AllCare Medical LLC u Faculty, Harvard Medical School u Cardiologist and Internist, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) u MD, University of Edinburgh u MD, Stanford University u PhD, Human Molecular Genetics, University of John Levinson, MD, PhD London, UK AllCare Medical, LLC 535 Boylston Street, 7th Floor Boston, MA 02116 (617) 247-0666 © 2016 Specialdocs Consultants, LLC Mark Bonaca, MD, MPH Marie Gerhard-Herman, MD Joseph Kannam, MD Calum MacRae, MD, PhD Benjamin Scirica, MD u PhD, Genetics, Stanford University At the Heart of Medicine…AllCare, New England’s First Concierge Medical Practice. Marc Bonaca, MD, MPH Marie Gerhard-Herman, MD Joseph Kannam, MD Benjamin Scirica, MD I am a physician-scientist active in clinical investigation, with a primary focus on atherosclerotic vascular disease. I’ve always believed that the best care begins with a constructive physician-patient relationship, established through time, mutual respect, and trust. The unique value that a physician can provide is not just in diagnosis or treatment, but in applying those skills with understanding and sensitivity for each patient. True precision medicine can only be delivered by the physician who respects his or her patient as a human being and not as a list of medical problems to be solved. Every day I practice medicine with the singular goal of achieving the best health possible for each patient. My passion is working together with patients to investigate their medical issues and to develop the best plan for their improvement…and I cherish that collaboration. I have long been interested in the impact of aging on the arteries, and as a physician-researcher, my focus has been understanding and treating the cardiovascular manifestations of accelerated atherosclerosis in the premature aging syndrome, Hutchison Gilford Progeria. I can’t imagine a more gratifying profession than being At the most primary level, my goal is to create a relationship with my patients that I would want for myself or my family to have with their physician – one based on trust, knowledge, mutual respect, and a shared dedication to developing long-term health and wellness. I am excited about working in a clinical setting that will allow these relationships to flourish. a physician…from helping a person feel better, sometimes saving someone’s life, getting a patient on track to a healthier lifestyle, to helping families manage the loss of a loved one.
