Quarterly Newsletter Holiday 2015 Providing Services as: JOBS ETC. & LIFE-OP, Residential Services, The Children’s Pyramid, CLASSIC In-Home Care REMEMBERING “KELS” The Maid of Honor and The Bride! Melissa at her sister Elizabeth’s wedding in sunny California a few years ago! THE KELLEYS “GIVE BACK” TO NASHUA CENTER A recent surprise visit from Mike Kelley, Melissa’s Dad, turned out to be a gesture of incredible kindness by the Kelley Family on behalf of Melissa. Aside from the many “supplies & equipment” that may be useful for other individuals receiving the Center’s services, they also donated Melissa’s accessible van! This will certainly help others who need specialized transportation to access their local communities. On behalf of all of us at Nashua Center, THANK YOU for your generosity. Melissa is smiling once again! Sometimes in our lives, the hardest thing is saying goodbye, especially to those we love. Melissa Kelley, otherwise known as “KELS” to her family and friends has been part of the Nashua Center family for over 30 years. Saying goodbye to her has left a hole in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her and loving her. She was “the life of the party” and “the apple of our eyes” but the memories we cherish of her will truly live in our hearts and minds forever. WE MISS YOU “KELS”! IMAGINE ...waking up tomorrow and not being able to get out of bed without help. ...needing full assistance to eat, drink, take a shower or get dressed. ...not being able to speak, see or hear like you do today. Now, imagine how you would live your life to the fullest and pursue your life dreams with the dignity and respect you would expect as a member in your community. Everyday, Nashua Center helps individuals realize their life dreams. SEASONS GREETINGS! Please consider making a gift at www.nashuacenter.org Thank You!
