Synopsis
Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona, where we lay our
scene... no, wait! That's not right! Ah, here it is...
Our story begins in Kansas, where Dorothy Gale and her absurdly cute
dog, Toto, are on the run from their mean neighbour, Miss Bumblepuss.
But she is the least of their worries, as a giant tornado sweeps Toto,
Dorothy, and her Auntie Em up, up, and away to the colourful and
madcap world of Ozl
the house they're flying in lands on Broomhilda, the Wicked
Witch of the East, and quickly gains our heroine the attention of the
Happily,
locals: the playful Munchkins, the Good Witches Glinda and Letitia, and
(unfortunately for our heroes, but good for dramatic tension) Olga, the
West. However, Olga soon retreats to the lands
where her power is greatest when she realizes Glinda has given
Broomhilda's powerful ruby slippers to Dorothy. Glinda advises Dorothy
to travel to the Emerald City, where the powerful Wizard of Oz holds rule

of the land.
Along her path (the questionably "safe" Yellow Brick Road), Dorothy and
Auntie Em meet some new friends, including the Scarecrow, the
Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, and... Elvis Presley?!? Together this band of
new friends makes their way to see the Wizard, so that he may grant
them all their wishes.
Ever standing in their way, though, is Olga. The Wicked Witch demands
the return of the ruby slippers, and besieges our heroes with spells,
tricks, poison poppies, and flying monkeys to get them back! The
slippers will allow Olga to control the stolen magic crystal of Oz, and if
that happens, the good Wizard will be removed from power!
Will the goodies reach the Emerald City? Will Dorothy make it back to
Kansas? Will Elvis sing all his number one hit singles? There's only one
way to find outl Sit back, relax, and enjoy... The Wizard of Oz!
