Final Drive, a Southern Groove Thrash Metal band from St. Louis Missouri. Often described
as a mix between Machine Head, Pantera, Clutch and Ministy. Known for their energetic live
performances and sharing the stage with national touring acts from Crowbar, Soulfly and
The Acacia Strain to Fit for an Autopsy, 3 Inches of Blood and Chimaira. Guitarists Nathan Easter
and Chris Nanney deliver dueling chunky metal riffs, Drummer Alex Wheeler a dynamic finesse on
the drum kit and low punchy groove by bassist Ray Tucker. All wrapped around the furious vocal
growls of Jordan Gaw.
Their latest album “Lifeswork” features 11 tracks of blistering metal, aggression, anthemic
choruses and crystal clear in-house production.
“A singular focus on getting asses out of seats”, Final Drive brings to the stage an aggressive and
precise attack of blunt force groove and thrash. Tracks like “Run For Your Life” and “Buried In
You” blast through with Clutch-like aesthetics, Buzzoven-like noise and ripping speed.
