SITE PLAN COMMITTEE MINUTES BELLEVIEW CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM August 3, 2015 8:45 A.M. 1. Roll Call PRESENT: Sandi McKamey (City Clerk/Administrator), Bob Kegan (Building Official), Chair Sue Farnsworth (Development Services Director), Bruce Phillips (Public Works Director/City Engineer), Gary Ernst (Commissioner) Samir Riaz – Verizon PUBLIC: STAFF: Stacey Cincotta, Administrative Assistant/Permitting Specialist 2. Notice/Publication of the Meeting Stacey Cincotta confirmed the meeting had been properly noticed. 3. Approval of Minutes 7-20-15 Vote to approve minutes for 7-20-15-Motion to approve by Commissioner Ernst and seconded by Bruce Phillips Vote to Approve 4-0 4. Action Items: 1. H.O.M.E. Parcel#:38050-000-00 Site Plan Committee members discussed the following: • H.O.M.E. received a Site PlanWaiver on February 17, 2014. The project has been completed. They would like to include a fence on the south property line to be provided in lieu of landscaping as part of this Waiver. • Site Plan members saw the fence at the time of inspection. • Motion to approve by Mr. Phillips and seconded by Ms. McKamey. Vote to Approve 4-0. Mr. Phillips left the meeting at 8:43 a.m. 2. Samir Riaz-Sign at Verizon Store Parcel#: 38867-000-00 Site Plan Committee members discussed the following: • Mr. Riaz owns the Verizon Store and would like to construct a monument sign on Abshier Blvd. The poperty already contains a sign for Belleview Meats that City of Belleview Site Plan Committee Meeting August 3, 2015 Page 2 • • is located at the other end of the property. Verizon has indicated that he needs a sign closer to his building to improve customer traffic. Ms. Farnsworth indicated a Special Exception Approval by the Planning and Zoning Board is required. There is no physical hardship on the property. Staff would support this request if it does not have adverse effects on the neighbors. Ms. McKamey indicated that the application could be scheduled in September if the application is received within the week. 5. Site Plan Committee Member Comments Commissioner Ernest asked about the status of the Bakery. Ms. Farnsworth stated that we have not received any communication at this time. 6.
