Blower DOG-1 Drying the firefight hoses Drying the humid walls Fresh air supply during rescue actions Application DOG-1 blower jest meant for: – local drying the walls in humid rooms, – drying the inner surface of the firefight hoses at fire brigades, – supplying fresh air during rescue actions to places without ventilation; Fresh air can be conveyed within a distance even of several dozens metres; The device can deliver fresh air for even 10 people. Lightweight structure and quick-connectors for hose attachment make the device very easy in use. High-pressure blower Structure The blower consists of a housing and a high-pressure turbine. The housing is equipped with a handle to carry the device from one place to another. On the upper housing surface is located a motor switch to operate the turbine. The appliance is equipped with a standard quick-connector to attach the hoses. The outlet air is warmed up by 35°C. The blower is equipped with a five-metre-long power supply cable, ended with a plug. Operational use In application of room drying, PUT the blower outlet in distance of approx. twenty centimetres from the humid wall and depending on the drying PROGRESS change the blower position. It is recommended that there is fresh air supply to the dried room. Provided that there is applied a flexible hose fastened through a quick-connector at the device outlet, the blower can be placed in another room or outside the building. The hose tip can precisely remove humidity, even from the most inaccessible places. In larger rooms, it is recommended to apply several blowers DOG-1, whereby each of them is directed with outlet to an another wall. For firefight hose drying, connect it through a quick-connector. Blowers can be applied in industrial vacuum cleaners, filtering units of high underpressure, in aeration the water reservoirs (sewage-treatment plants) as well as to create an “air geyser” in pools. Structure The blower consists of a housing, aluminium cast radial impeller, two silencers and a motor. The impeller is installed directly on the motor shaft. Silencers are installed at the inlet and outlet. The device is adapted for work both in horizontal and vertical position. High-pressure blower Conditions of use: – admissible temperature of the intake air +40°C, – The fan cannot convey viscous impurities and substances of explosion risk and of dustiness exceeding 0,3 g/m³. Due to this, the fan can be turned around the horizontal axis and it can be fixed in the requested position. On the square housing is a rotation governor to switch on the fan and to adjust the fan flow efficiency. The blower is equipped with a five-metre-long power supply cable, ended with a plug. Put the blower outlet in a distance of 50 cm parallel to the wall. Drying proceeds due to high flow efficiency of the blower, but at low pressure, therefore the drying effect is obtained by blowing off the close-to-wall layer only. Important is to provide unrestricted fresh air to the dried room, by creating a natural air draught inside. Due to low noise and small power consumption, the blower can work continuously, not being an inconvenience to surroundings.
