ARTPARK invites you to create a fairy house for display at the
Fairy House Festival June 11 & 12, 2016.
Artpark will award 3 Prize Winners: 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $75, 3rd Place $50.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
All participants who pre-register by the application deadline will be mentioned on the Artpark website.
• APPLICATION DEADLINE IS April 30, 2016.

GUIDELINES FOR BUILDING FAIRY HOUSES
• We suggest using natural materials. Manmade objects may be used if found in nature.
• All fairy houses should appear to be made entirely of natural components. Hot glue, acrylic spray, natural
twine, plywood and other manmade items can be used but should be completely concealed by natural
elements.
• Be careful not to use or disturb any of nature’s materials that are still living.
• Houses may be any size and the theme of the house may be anything you wish. Please do not use anything
of value in the houses

INSTALLATION
• Houses may be dropped off on Saturday June 11 between 12:30 and 1:30 PM. To drop off any houses off
prior to June 11 please contact Susan at [email protected] or 716-754-9000 x 142 to make arrangements.
• Please enter at Fourth Street: cross the parking lot, on your immediate right, to the Information Center to
drop off your Fairy House.
• Please make a label for your house with your name or group name.
• Houses will remain on display at Artpark during the festival until Sunday June 12, 2016. You can take them
home after that or leave them at Artpark.
