Art in Action
Get a little messy with hands-on art experiences that involve
active exploration. This program incorporates your child’s need
for activity with the natural need of creativity. Get ready to move
and create!
Program Descriptions
Homeschool Day
Visit with The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary as they bring Stella
the bat to the museum for a meet and greet. Learn all about the
world of bats with an interactive story time too. You’ll go batty over
this program!
Join us for a morning of private play in the museum exclusively for
Homeschool families. Enjoy free play with our Mega Lego® bricks,
pack a lunch to eat in our lunchroom (peanut-free only) and add on
our Rock On! program for $2.
Pre-register by Oct. 9 to receive a discounted admission rate of $5
per person. Museum members Free. Register under the Program
tab on our website.

Make a pinch pot, dish or creation of your own out of our air dry
clay, tools and paints to take home. Purchase an art project
ticket at the front desk for $3 and drop in for Clay Play!
Join us for this NEW program full of games and activities
focusing on Spanish vocabulary just for your preschooler!
Each week, learn all about colors, numbers, letters, shapes
and more. It will be FANTASTICO!

recycled materials and art supplies to design your own life form.
What will it be called and what planet will it hail from?
Join us for a Star Wars story time and lift off into a galaxy far,
far away! Listen to a reading of “The Wookie Storybook”
followed by birthday card decorating for our “Chewbacca.”
Mad Scientist’s Lab
Step into our Mad Scientist’s Lab and make oozy and exciting
concoctions! This is science meets Halloween fun that you
won’t want to miss.

our light sabers as well as a galactic craft.
Fire Safety Friday
Plastic Fusion
w/ United Health Care & The Green Bay Metro Fire
Department
It’s Fire Safety Month! Join United Healthcare and The Green
Bay Metro Fire Department for a morning about fire safety.
Come join us to learn about how you can practice fire safety
procedures and receive a fire safety badge!
Check out a real fire truck and meet Green Bay firefighters
from 10:30-11:30am. (Fire department visit can be subject to
change due to emergency.)
Come for this STEAM program that not only fuses pieces of
recycled plastic sheets together with heat, but also fuses
science and art! Create your own plastic artwork masterpieces
to take home.
Halloween-O
Join us for our Halloween style Bingo… if you dare!
All little ghosts and ghouls can play for prizes.
Let your imagination run wild by creating and inventing. Use
recycled items and our featured art supplies to make a real
work of art.
R2D2 Robotics
Join our Children’s Museum staff and interact with “Ozobots.”
These amazing, mini robots can make decisions, follow
directions, read colors and move! Engage in robotic fun as you
give our robots commands to read and follow.
Space-tacular Brick Build
This teacher-led class is a great way for kids and their adults to
enjoy all that the world of Lego® has to offer. Take part in a space
themed brick build, including technical models. Buy your class
ticket at the front desk ($2 per child).
National Star Wars Reads Day Storytime
It’s our 4 annual Halloween party for your entire family! Take part
in the family costume contest, ghostly games and activities, witchy
workshops and a howling good meal.

Recycled Art Studio
Spooky Science
Experience science on the SPOOKY side! Handle real snakes and
lizards with the Fox Valley Herp Club, make blood, experiment with
slime, learn about human bones and more. Complete all science
stations and receive a prize. It’s spooky science fun for the whole
family!
Wee One Hour
Join us for thematic stories, songs, craft projects and activities
tailored to our “wee ones” ages 5 and under. Meet in the
Imagination Station for story time, followed by a craft.
Wiggle, Move and Giggle
Dance, sing and move with your toddler. Join this playful
program full of games, music and movement activities. Move
and groove while learning about colors, shapes and numeracy.
It’s bound to get you and your toddler wiggling and giggling.
Pint-Sized Picassos
Paint a masterpiece in our Imagination Station! Open painting
is available on our art easels.
Read for the Record
Join us as we unite with Jumpstart Read for the Record’s effort
in the world’s largest shared reading experience. Let’s help
break the world record for most people reading the same book
on the same day! Listen to a reading of “Not Norman” by Kelly
Bennett followed by other fishy activities.
Dress up in costume October 24-31 and
receive $2 off admission.
