Velux Scholarship Programme GO OUT LEARN LOTS COME BACK INSPIRE OTHERS The Velux Project The project is a scholarship programme for talented, but financially disadvantaged young people (full-time university students at undergraduate level study programmes) from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria The students will be given the opportunity to enroll at a higher education institution in Denmark for a certain period (1-2 semesters) The project is funded by the Velux Foundations Host institutions International Business Academy (IBA) – main partner www.iba.dk Copenhagen School of Design and Business (KEA) www.kea.dk Erhvervsakademi MidtVest (EAMV) www.eamv.dk Study Programmes (IBA) AP Degree in Marketing Management AP Degree in Financial Management AP Degree in Entrepreneurship & Design AP Degree in Multimedia Design Top-up Bachelor in International Sales and Marketing Management Study Programmes (KEA) AP Degree in Computer Science AP Degree in Design Technology & Business AP Degree in IT Technology: Networks & Electronics AP Degree in Multimedia Design & Communication Top-up Bachelor in Software Development Top-up Bachelor in Web Development Top-up Bachelor in Design & Business Top-up Bachelor in E-concept Development Bachelor in Architectural Technology and Construction Management Who can apply? Students with social/financial disadvantageous background Full-time students at undergraduate level The current study is relevant to one of the above mentioned subjects Credit transfer has to be possible into the current study Students with good academic results/qualifications Students with good English skills How to apply? Application has to be handed in to the home institutions The home institutions will make the pre-selection of the applicants Application checklist Completed application form with photo Transcript of records Documentation of financial status (family income) Recommendation letters from teachers English language exam (if any) Other relevant documentation to proof academic, social and financial status The selection process English test and personal interview will be part of the evaluation process All applications will be evaluated individually (case by case) The applicants will receive a written notice after their applications has been evaluated The Scholarship 5.486 DKK/month (before tax) 3.000 DKK to cover travel costs FREE books (can be borrowed from the library) FREE tuition *Accommodation will be organized by the host institutions. The monthly rent will be deducted from the monthly scholarship. For further information please contact your supervisor at your home institution! Good luck!
