esigner Linda Eyles hosted an evening prelude for The
Houston Design Center’s Fall Market at her namesake
Heights-area design compound with her team,
Mary Alderman and Lisa Roark. Design star
Nancy Braithwaite signed copies of her
long-awaited first book, Nancy Braithwaite: Simplicity,
at the intimate overture, where Eyles rounded up
Houston’s decorator bigwigs in anticipation of the
big event. Chef Olivier Ciesielski of L’Olivier
served signature dishes, dessert cheeses and
charcuterie paired with wines from Line39.
