Our patina and rusting agents can create rust and patina effects in as little as 30 minutes. You can apply Magic Metallics as you would any other acrylic paint to any surface. Use brushes, sponges, stamps and anything else you can think of to create interesting effects (Rust and Patina agents can also be spray applied). Magic Metallics can be applied to any craft surface, ceramics, wood, paper, glass, Styrofoam, plastic, fabric – literally any surface can be “metalized” with Magic Metallics. Magic Metallics do not use solvent-based formulas – all product are non-toxic. They easily clean up with water and do not require protective clothing or special equipment during their use. * Bisque Glass A New Dimension for Art Projects Paper Styrofoam & Wood Magic Metallics provides artists, designers and decorators with design options they may not have due to budgetary or equipment restraints. A Styrofoam sculpture can be turned into a bronze statue with Magic Metallics. Ordinary materials, such as papier mâché, polymer clay, and paper projects, are transformed into grand statements. Schools: Applications include an art project creating an aged look; a science project discussing the chemical process of oxidation; a history lesson on Roman and Greek sculpture. Artists: Use Magic metallics to create brilliant metallic finishes, a natural patina or authentic rust. Perfect for sculpted works, garden decorations or that unusual look for your home décor. Designers: Faux finishers and home remodelers can use Magic Metallics to turn an entire wall into a metal surface or create unique accents in any room. * Glass dish by: Margot Clark For techniques on the projects pictured here, visit our website at www.maycocolors.com.
