Eat, Drink & Be Inspired
At TCU Place, we specialize in creating great experiences. That includes our catering. Whether you are planning
a convention, meeting or special event at TCU Place in Saskatoon, we offer a wide and varied selection of dining
choices for casual, buffet or elegantly served banquets. The best part? Our menus are customizable, and our food
is freshly plated, meaning you get the food you want how you want it. We will work with you to create a menu that
fits your event and the preferences of your guests, whether you’re holding a meeting for twelve or a dinner for
hundreds.
INTRODUCING OUR NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF - TREVOR LAVALLEY
Award winning Executive Chef Trevor LaValley has over 20 years of experience in the food service industry. His
career began in Banff, where he washed pots in a French bistro; it was then he knew that he had found something
he wanted to pursue.
Chef Trevor spent 12 years in Vancouver training, learning & exploring international cuisine, which served him well
as he went on to partner in designing & opening multiple restaurants in B.C. & Regina. After being Head Chef in a
few of Regina’s more progressive rooms, he realized a desire to be a part of something bigger. This desire prompted
his move to TCU Place, where he is quickly building a positive & creative atmosphere in our kitchens.

Banquet Guidelines
Food
• All food served in the facility is the property of
TCU Place. Our contracted caterer is renowned
for quality, service, and presentation. All food
preparation is done through our kitchens.
• The menus are suggestions and may be altered
in consultation with our sales office. Our staff are
ready to create menus designed specifically for
your function upon request.
• Menu selections may be sampled upon request.
This service can be provided at a cost to be
determined by the events department. The
sampling prices will be equal to the full menu price
per person plus additional service charges and
applicable taxes - minimum charge $200.00.
• Please note that the food is the property of TCU
Place and must not be removed for any reason.
• In order to ensure supply of your selected menu,
it is highly recommended that all menus be
submitted 30 days prior to your event.
Liquor
• The facility is governed by Provincial Liquor Laws
and all applicable guidelines must be met. Please
refer to our beverage service page for additional
information.
Guarantee
• A preliminary estimate of attendance is required
when booking your event and selecting the menu.
• A guarantee of the number of guests attending
must be provided to TCU Place 72 hours (3
business days) prior to the function.
• The Client will be invoiced for the guarantee or
actual number of people in attendance, whichever
is higher. The guarantee is not subject to a
reduction after the 72-hour deadline. Increases in
guarantee numbers after the 72 hours are subject
to approval by TCU Place and may be charged a fee
of 25% per meal.
• We will accommodate special dietary requests
when given advance notification at the time of your
guarantee. Please provide names of guests requiring
special meals at time of guarantee.
Deposit
• A paid deposit is required to confirm the booking on
a definite basis, along with a signed contract.
• All deposits are non-refundable subject to the
terms of the contract.
Room Changes
• TCU Place reserves the right to change the
room allocation within the building at time of
guarantee if numbers do not meet minimum room
requirements.
Labour
• Catering services delayed by the client will result in
a labour charge of $150.00 for each additional 15
minutes, after the first half hour. Client to provide
20 minutes clearing time immediately after dinner
or $1.75/person will be charged to offset labour
costs.
• All quoted labour charges are subject to change
without notice.
• Additional labour charges will apply for all
Canadian statutory holidays.

CASH BAR SERVICE
• The client is invoiced for all liquor consumed
during the event. TCU Place provides all liquor,
beer, wine and liqueur products available from
our current stock, as well as bar staff, bartenders,
glasses, ice, mix, bar equipment, and all related
condiments. Service charge and GST is applied to
total amount invoiced.
• Host Bar Service includes Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Ginger
Ale, 7-Up, Soda Water, Tonic Water, Ice Water,
Clamato Juice, Orange Juice, Seasonings, Limes,
and Celery.
• TCU Place provides liquor, beer, wine and liqueur
products available from our current stock, bar staff
and bartenders with all the necessary condiments.
• Cash Bar Service includes Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Ginger
