FOCUS ON DONORS
New Emergency Pavilion, Capital Campaign
Orange Coast Memorial Foundation has
embarked on a capital campaign to raise
$2 million for the new Emergency Pavilion. With
support from local businesses, foundations and
individual donors, we are nearly halfway to our
goal! We want to thank those generous donors
who have supported the campaign to date, and
we hope to secure the necessary additional
funds to achieve our goal soon.

1 3 th A n n u a l F a l l G a l a
The Orange Coast Memorial Foundation hosted its 13th Annual
Fall Gala on Saturday, October 17th at the Ritz-Carlton,
Laguna Niguel. Nearly 300 guests attended the event which
raised over $220,000 in support of the hospital’s new
Emergency Pavilion.
The Bobier Family: Justin Stehr, Jenny Bobier-Stehr, Dave and Barbara Bobier,
Chris and Katie Bobier.
The evening’s program highlighted the story of the
Bobier Family, three of whom were found to have a dangerous,
hereditary heart condition that could potentially lead to sudden
cardiac arrest. All three received a subcutaneous implantable
cardiac defibrillator (SICD) at Orange Coast Memorial, protecting
them from abnormal heart rhythms.

As we near the holiday
season, we find ourselves
reflecting on things for
which we are thankful.
At Orange Coast Memorial,
we have many.
This year, thanks to
generous friends like you,
we have been able to fund
numerous patient programs
and equipment purchases,
such as a Tomosynthesis
System, providing 3-D
imaging to more accurately screen for breast cancer tumors
that do not show up in a traditional mammogram.
Philanthropic support plays a significant role in our ability to
provide these services. Thanks to your generosity, we are able
to continually improve the level of patient care that we are
able to offer you, your family and our community.
