Instructions for use
The bathroom furniture range complies with the standards and guidelines applicable at the time of delivery and is designed for use in bathrooms.
Direct contact with water should be avoided, for example, when showering.
A power supply of 110 V – 230 V must be available on site.
Distance from the sensor to the reflecting surfaces = > 75 mm.

Storage
– Max. 8 different devices can be
saved.
– If a ninth device is applied the
device saved first will be deleted
from the storage automatically.
Pairing
– Activation time of the capacitive
switch: 3 – 5 seconds.
– During an over- or underrun of
this time no effect. Because of
that, objects can be placed on top
of the capacitive switch inside the
mirror cabinet.
– After removing the object the capacitive switch takes around 10
seconds to reconfigure itself. After
that it can be used normally for
Pairing-Mode.
User exchange
– Deactivate „Bluetooth ®“ on the
device, that is used at the time.
– Cut the connection from the
device logged in at the time to the
attached device „Duravit Soundsystem“.
– If the logged in device is out of
range for over 3 minutes, the
connection will be deactivated
automaticly. If the user gets back
in range in the time given - his
device will automaticly reconnect
to the soundsystem.
– Depending on witch device is
used, the time until connecting
another device after the log off of
the first device can be up to 60
sec..
Bluetooth & Enddevices
Bluetooth® is a wireless communications technology with a short
range, witch can be used to transfer
data and information over a 10
meter distance wirelessly.
The devices don’t have to be oriented for a Bluetooth® connection.
If devices are in the same user area
they can share information with
each other even if they‘r in different
rooms.
The
device
supports
the
Bluetooth®-Standard 2.1 with the
Profil A2DP but is also compatible
with downgrades. Please check if
your device matches those requirements.
Check the manual of your device to
create a Bluetooth® connection.
Some enddevices especialy those
who have not been testet by,
Bluetooth SIG could be incompatible with the soundsystem.
The available functions and extra
services can be different depending
on hardware, software and network
provider.
Applications and functions can be
different depending on country, area
or hardware specification.
Duravit is not responsible for performance issues caused by applications from third parties.

reached if:
– Musictitels are used in an accurate format like MP3, WAV oder
Apple-Format..
– Musictitels are used in the
highest Bitrate.
– The device is used inside the radio range.

Please try the following to solve Problems.
-Probable Cause
u Solution
A new device can’t be connected to the soundsystem ?
- The Bluetooth connection on your device is not activated.
u Activate the Bluetooth® function .
- More than 8 Devices have been logged into the system. Your device has been deleted automaticly from the storage because you logged in to many devices.
u Execute the Pairing process between your device and the soundsystem again. Your device will be saved on the storage again.
- Activating the capacitive switch took less than 3 or longer than 5 seconds.
u Activate the capacitive switch for at least 3 seconds but not for longer than 5 seconds. If the activation process takes longer or shorter than the time given the pairing process can’t be started.
- The capacitive switch got blocked witch an object inside the cabinet.
u Remove the object from the capacitive switch. After 10 seconds the capacitive switch calibrated itself again.
Go on with the pairing process like usually. After that the space inside the cabinet can be be used as always.
- There is an active connection between the soundsystem and another device.
u Cut the active connection between the soundsystem and the logged in device.
Its not enough to get out of reach because the connection wont get lost for another 3 minutes after leaving the radio range.
If the user comes back in that time his device gets connect again automatically to the soundsystem. Only if you stay out of range for
3 minutes or longer the connection will cut automatically and the soundsystem will be free to connect to another device.
- The waiting time between the log off of the first and the log on of the second device was to short.
u Try top connect again after 60 seconds.

- The pairing process wasn’t executed with the device yet.
u Execute the pairing process with the device.
- The Bluetooth connection on the device is not activated.
u Activate the Bluetooth function on the device.
- There is an active connection between the soundsystem and another device.
u Cut the active connection between the soundsystem and the logged in device.
Its not enough to get out of reach because the connection wont get lost for another 3 minutes after leaving the radio range.

The Soundsystem will be shown as
„Duravit Soundsystem“ in the Bluetooth® menue on your device. Now
connect your device with the soundsystem. If you‘re asked to type in a
PIN code, please enter 1817.

Start the music on your device.
To cut the connection:
– Turn off „Bluetooth®“ on your
device.
– Cut the connection to the atteched
device „Duravit Soundsystem“.
– If you‘re out of range for longer
than 3 minutes the connection will
be cut automaticly.

Activate the capacitive switch on the
inner right side of the mirror cabinet by touching the marked area for
at least 3 seconds, but maximum 5
seconds.

A recognition sound can be heard.
The Pairing-Mode stays active for
ca. 1 minute. In this time you should
build up a connection to the soundsystem. If it takes you longer than
one minute you‘ll have to press the
pairing button again.
