On-Ice Communication
There was lots of exciting action in two draws on Monday. Sure, it’s about
the shots made. But really, it’s all about the communication!
(L-R, from top) Manitoba second Al Purdy listens to skip Bob Sigurdson;
New Brunswick skip Charlie Sullivan and third Leah Thompson have an
in-house consultation; Teams Northern Ontario and Nova Scotia do the
meet and greet; Team Ontario’s third, lead and second chat about rocks
and beer; Newfoundland and Labrador have a team huddle; a rock talks
(listen carefully); Northwest Territories third Dawn Moses watches the
line; Nunavut second Peter Mackey and skip Ed Macdonald confess all
under the bright lights; Nova Scotia lead Shelley Barker has some quiet
time; PEI sweepers Megan Wile and Chloé McCloskey heed the call;
Alberta third Sarah Wilkes clarifies the call.
