As an islander myself – born and raised on the idyllic island of

Bermuda – I have always been drawn to places that are brimming with
local personality – true to the land upon which they are proudly resident.
Being in the travel business for the past 28 years, I have learned of, read about and experienced first-hand

CHILDRENS POLICY:
Cambridge Beaches is a Child Free Property, where only
persons 16 years up are welcome.
Children aged 0 - 15 years are not permitted on the
property.
DEPOSITS:
At the time of booking, a two-night deposit (excluding taxes
and service charge) is required to confirm a reservation. For
some promotions full payment is required at booking..
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If a reservation is cancelled outside 14 days prior to arrival,
the deposit will be refunded less a $100 Cancellation Fee.
If a reservation is cancelled within 14 days of arrival, the
deposit will be forfeited.
We strongly recommend that all guests are adequately covered by their
insurance policy to cover cancellation charges, as Eden Rock will
strictly enforce this cancellation policy.

Naval Dockyard and search for the finest hand-crafted
treasures on the island.

THE BERMUDA MARITIME MUSEUM
Set within the Keep, a sprawling six-acre fortress at the
edge of the Royal Naval Dockyard. Admission includes
eight historic buildings such as old munitions warehouses
and the newly restored Commissioner’s House, the
first prefabricated cast and wrought iron house in the
world. Exhibitions include the Bermuda Slavery Exhibit,
one devoted to the ancestry of the island’s Portuguese
community and other displays that highlight Bermuda’s
maritime history. Our popular and immersive Dolphin
Quest programme is also set within the Keep. Whether
taking in some local history, stunning views from the
ramparts, or exploring Bermuda’s largest fort, there is
plenty to see and learn at this important cultural attraction.
BERMUDA ARTS CENTRE, DOCKYARD
Since its opening by Princess Margaret in 1984, this spot
has been a showcase for local artists and artisans and
an excellent place to see our island’s works. Exhibits,
which change frequently, include water colours, oils and
photography. Or visit our craft market This is our island’s
largest, most extensive craft outlet, with more than 60
friendly local artists ready to show their craftwork to
visitors. Look for candles, Bermudian cedar work, ceramics,
jewelry, fabric art, painted glassware, three-dimensional
decoupage, needlework canvas, Christmas ornaments and
quilts. If you are looking for shopping, our Clock Tower
Mall has several stores for perfumes, jewelry and clothing.
SCAUR HILL FORT
Built to protect overland routes to the Royal Naval
Dockyard, the ramparts offer unequalled views of the Great
Sound and lovely Ely’s Harbour. This untested fortification
functioned well into the last century when American
soldiers were stationed here during WWII. One of two
64-pound guns on disappearing carriages is still here.

WATER SPORTS
We have many locations on property or close by to enjoy
any water sports. From water skiing, jet skiing, deep sea
fishing or charting a boat, the island can be explored by the
sea! Just ask our concierge.
BEACHES
We have 4 private beaches, however if you are interested in
exploring our island beaches; here are a few that are close
by – Whale Bay, Horseshoe Bay, Jobson Cove and Warwick
Long Bay.
GOLF
Golfers have always been drawn to our island for golf
vacations and beautiful sceneries. Cambridge Beaches is a
5 minute drive from Port Royal Golf Course (home of the
PGA Grand Slam); however there are others that are no
more than 20 minutes away – Fairmont Southampton Golf
Course, Riddell’s Bay Golf Club and Belmont Hills! We
have 8 courses in Bermuda, visit our Golf page to find out

CITY OF HAMILTON
Visit our city center, full of shops, restaurants and
Bermudian history. Transportation can be arranged
through our concierge. The easiest have fast way to the City
of Hamilton is via the fast ferry!

GUIDED NATURE TOURS
If it’s the natural side of Antigua that interests you most,
then take an eco-tour with Antigua Paddles, based out of
Seatons on the island’s eastern shore. Experienced guides
lead you through a half-day filled with kayaking, snorkeling,
powerboating and hiking adventures. To get even closer to
the local marine life, snorkel Stingray City, a crystal-clear
ocean pool protected by its own reef where you can actually
swim with the rays.
CARIBBEAN HELICOPTERS
For an even higher view, take off on a sightseeing tour with
Caribbean Helicopters based in the VC Bird International
airport. Through the window of your Bell 206 series or
Eurocopter AS355, you will see the coastline from deserted
offshore islands to the downtown cruise-ship port, and from
busy Dickenson Bay to pristine and rugged Half-moon Bay.
You can even fly over to nearby Montserrat to look down
into the crater of its active volcano and see the charred
remains of its now deserted capital city.

The Premium Hillside Pool Suites and Hillside Pool Suites
have a private plunge pool and sunbathing area with sunbeds. A wrap-around open-air deck incorporates a lounge
area, dining area and daybed. Greenheart wooden floors
lead from the deck into the air-conditioned bedroom. All
suites have a king-sized bed, flat-screen tv, dvd player, iPod
docking station, wireless broadband, minibar, personal safe
and tea and coffee-making facilities. The spacious bathroom
has a bath, twin basins, vanity dressing table with hairdryer
and an outdoor garden shower. Each suite has a panoramic
view of the Caribbean Sea and over 1,200 sq ft of space.
The Beachfront Suites are positioned right on the white
sand beach. The Garden Suites are set in the gardens
behind the beach. Both have a large verandah with daybed.
The bedroom and sitting area is air-conditioned. The
entire suite offers over 900 sq ft of space. Every suite has
a spacious king-sized bed, flat-screen tv, dvd player, iPod
docking station, wireless broadband, mini-bar, personal safe
and tea and coffee-making facilities. The bathroom is openplan and has a bath, twin basins, hair dryer and outdoor
garden shower.
FACILITIES
Food and service are crucial to the Hermitage Bay
experience. The restaurant and lounge overlook the beach.
The restaurant is built on several levels to ensure that each
table has an uninterrupted view of the beach and sea.
Lunch can also be taken around the pool, in the lounge or
on the shady beachfront patio. Room service is available for
an additional charge.
All-inclusive rates include breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea
and dinner. Also included, is a selection of excellent house
wines and all beverages, including premium branded drinks.
From 21 December to 31 March, French champagne is
included in the all-inclusive package. A full wine list and
deluxe brands are available at and additional charge.

WATER SPORTS
The use of water sports equipment and tuition is
complimentary. We have double and single kayaks, paddle
boards, windsurfing, snorkeling, and sunfish and hobie cat
sailing. To preserve the peace and tranquility of the hotel,
motorized water sports are not provided or encouraged.

Spa services are available daily at an additional cost.

We do not accept children under the age of twelve except
for the period July 1 to August 31and from December 1
to December 29 when we accept children aged eight and

It is very easy to get married in Barbados. There is no official
waiting period prior to the wedding ceremony. Couples
must first go to the ministry of Home Affairs to obtain their
marriage licence and the marriage can then take place (the
Ministry is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).
A letter will be obtained from the Marriage Officer stating
that he will perform the wedding service. Fees: if neither

DOLPHIN ENCOUNTER ($62 PER PERSON)
The encounter consists of 30 minute waste deep in
the water with a dolphin and a trainer. This is a hand
on interaction with the dolphins where you will get an
opportunity to give the dolphin rub downs, learn about
them, the dolphin gives you a hug and a kiss, the dolphin
does jumps, tail walks and other water behaviors as
well. During the first 20 minutes of the encounter the
photographer from the hotel will take pictures that will
be optional to purchase, during the last 10 minutes of the
encounter the trainer will let you know its camera time and
you will be able to take as many pictures with your camera.

DOLPHIN ACTION SWIM ($112 PER PERSON)
This is a 45 minute total activity with the dolphins. The first
8 minutes is a platform session where you get to interact a
little with the dolphins before entering the water (during
this time you will also have a chance to take pictures with
your camera) After the 8 minute activity is up, you put
your cameras away. The remaining 37 minutes you will
spend the entire time in the water getting foot push, dorsal
fin rides, handshake, kiss, practice vocals and do other
water behaviors with the dolphins. During this time the
photographer from the hotel will be taking pictures that will
be optional to purchase once the activity is finished.

Consists of a 45 minute open water dive with two dolphins.
The dive is 60ft deep on a sandy bottom. After checking
in at the dive shop the boat will take you to Bailey’s Key
(home of our dolphins) where you will have a top side
orientation and Q&A session to learn about dolphin diving
etiquette, a five minute boat ride brings you to a beautiful
reef wall where you’ll descend to a white sandy bottom at
60 feet. Two or three naturally curious dolphins will arrive
and are free to interact with you as they chose. You will
be accompanied by a dive guide, dolphin behaviorist and
videographer. You have to be certified in order to do the
Dive.

LOCATION
ANSE CHASTANET is one of the Caribbean’s most
romantic resorts set amidst a 600 acre lush tropical
estate with 2 soft sand beaches, 8000 feet of Caribbean
coastline and breathtaking views of St. Lucia’s twin Piton
mountains rising out of the calm Caribbean Sea. ANSE
CHASTANET’s unique rooms, bathrooms and tropical
hardwood furniture have been personally designed by
the architect owner, and all blend harmoniously with the
environment and nature. 11/2 miles north of the town of
Soufriere, and near most of the island’s major sightseeing
attractions.

5 PREMIUM HILLSIDE
Premium rooms are ANSE CHASTANET’s rooms
numbered 7, which offer picture postcard perfect views of
the Piton mountains and the surrounding sea by virtue of
their very elevated and strategic location. Some Premium
rooms have fourth wall missing. King size bed, clay tiles,
ceiling fans, shower. Extremely spacious (1200-1400 sq ft).
14 DELUXE HILLSIDE
Hillside Deluxe rooms are extremely spacious and
individually designed. Some rooms have a formal
separation between bedroom and living room, others are
wide open spaces flowing into each other. King size bed,
clay tiles or tropical hardwood floor, ceiling fan, private
shower/wc, very spacious, new Hillside Deluxe rooms are

very openly built, some with the fourth wall missing entirely
or with dramatic open roof dormers. New Hillside Deluxe
rooms have ocean views. Original Hillside Deluxe rooms
are enclosed and have wooden louvred doors and windows
and a separate sitting room/patio area. Original hillside
deluxe rooms have ocean and Piton mountain views.
12 DELUXE BEACHSIDE
All beachside rooms are deluxe category rooms. Beachside
Deluxe rooms are very spacious rooms set amidst a tropical
garden near the beach. King size or King size plus one
Double or Single bedding, clay tiles, wooden louvered
windows, ceiling fan, private shower/wc, ceiling fan,
balconies or patios, spaciously built, some with open roof
dormers. Rooms have garden view and are air conditioned.
Guests are able to open all louvered panels if they prefer no
air-conditioning.
14 SUPERIOR HILLSIDE
Superior rooms are located on the hillside and are
octagonal or rectangular in shape. Twin beds or king size
bed, clay tiles or tropical hardwood floors, private shower/
wc, ceiling fan, glass or wooden louvered windows, Piton
and/or ocean views, wrap around balconies.
4 STANDARD HILLSIDE
Standard rooms are slightly smaller than Superior rooms
with twin, queen or king size bedding, with garden or partial
ocean view. Queen or king size bed, glass or wooden louvered
windows, private shower/wc, ceiling fan, garden view.
2 BEDROOM SUITES
Certain hillside deluxe units can be made available with
an interconnecting door leading to another hillside deluxe
or standard unit. Ideal for families or couples traveling
together.

The infinity pool sanctuaries which are between 1400- 1800

square feet in size with infinity pools averaging 650 square
feet.
“SUN” INFINITY POOL SANCTUARIES
The infinity pool sanctuaries with the most commanding
270 degree panoramic view, with up to 2000 square feet
in size, and in particular elevated positions. The infinity
pools are up to 900 square feet in size. The combination of
additional square footage and amazing panorama makes
these sanctuaries the most desirable for all those seeking the
ultimate experience.

These are the Sun sanctuaries JC1, JD1 and JE1 which are
on the highest level of JADE MOUNTAIN and enjoy the
most commanding panoramic views plus biggest square
footage. Because we have been asked on many occasions
to guarantee these two suites for arrival, we have decided

The SKY suites are located in the lower hillside level of
JADE MOUNTAIN. While the SKY suites do NOT have
an infinity pool they are part of JADE MOUNTAIN and
guests will enjoy all of the JADE MOUNTAIN privileges.
The SKY suites are very spacious suites of about 1650
square feet, with the 4th wall open, yet completely private,
to maximize the amazing view experience of the Pitons and
the ocean. SKY suites feature a two level room lay out, with
a large and comfortable living space and open bath design,
with a raised Jacuzzi tub towering above the living space
and also open to view.
BEDDING AND IN ROOM FACILTIES
All infinity pool sanctuaries and the Sky suites have king
size beds. Upon request, twin bedding can be provided or
an extra bed added.
In room facilities include fridge, tea/coffee maker, hair
dryer, iron and ironing board (a member of housekeeping
will gladly perform the chore ). The SUN and GALAXY
sanctuaries also feature a separate small wine cellar
stocked with fine wines which are available at a charge.
All categories have Molton Brown bath amenities, Frette
Towels and Bathrobes.
There are no televisions, radios or telephones in the
infinity pool sanctuaries and Sky suites in keeping with
the overall resort experience. Guests have the option to
contact the Major Domo or Reception team via their
Firefly communication device. Wi- fi is available inside the
sanctuaries on request. Cell Phones enjoy good reception,
providing the service provider covers the region. It is
recommended that guests enquire with their cell phone
provider prior to travel.
Guests are asked to refrain from using their cell phones in
public, and keep them on vibrate setting whilst on property.
In addition to locally made fine tropical wood furniture
an eclectic collection of furniture has been placed in
the sanctuaries giving each one of them their own
individualistic ambiance. The living areas of the rooms
are finished with more than 20 different species of
tropical hardwood flooring and trims harvested in an
environmentally correct way. A multitude of hardwoods
have been used including Purpleheart, Greenheart, Locust,
Kabukali, Snakewood, Bloodwood, Etikburabali, Futukbali,
Taurino, Mora and Cabbage Wood.

The bathrooms have tropical hardwood vanities with fine
brushed stainless steel or nickel plated European fixtures.
They feature smooth, cool, coral tile floors and shimmering
handmade glass tile shower walls and high tech stainless
steel shower units with powerful massage jets and gentle
rainfall shower heads, polished mirrors, custom light
fixtures, porcelain wash bowls, adjustable makeup mirrors

Each bathroom has a large whirlpool tub for two on a
raised dais overlooking your room, pool and the view.
The whirlpools are all equipped with strategically placed
point-massage jets that can each be controlled by guests as

‘chroma-therapy’ – based on the theory that colors affect
biorhythms and life equilibrium.
All pools feature shallow water lounging areas in addition to
a large swimming area. They are illuminated at night with

All of the pools have been surfaced entirely in one-of-akind glass tiles, which have been specifically designed for

in the literal sense: Couples wishing to get married at JADE
MOUNTAIN can do so free of charge if they are staying
a minimum 5 nights at JADE MOUNTAIN between
August 1 - September 30, 2014. The free wedding includes
costs of the Justice of the Peace, registrar, wedding license,
marriage certificate and all legal fees; expert services of our
personal wedding coordinator and JADE MOUNTAIN
team members to handle all arrangements; messenger
service and transportation of documents; witnesses, if
required; use of half-day room for groom if required;
choice of wedding locations on 600 acre property including
Treehouse and Kai La Mer; decoration of wedding
location; decorated wedding arch; wedding bouquet; button
hole for groom; wedding cake; bottle of champagne; special
decorated dinner table for wedding party. If you are already
married but would like to re-affirm, the resort will make
the FOREVER YOU renewal of vows package available
instead. This will be a similar yet not legally binding
arrangement.
