thanks to its refractive index of 1,62 has optical
properties very close to the one of natural
enamel: increasing the thickness also the value
increases.
With this composite enamel it is possible to
manage the relation between translucency and
value and the aesthetic integration of the margin
because the light goes through two bodies
(natural enamel and composite enamel) with the
same refractive index and in this way it does not
undergo any deviation, problem that on the
clinical level gives a gray line on the margin.
Furthermore, in restorations of free incisal
enamel the composite is perfectly integrated
replacing the enamel in all the thickness with no
need of using dentine bodies, unlike with the
other composite materials.

A concept of ultraconservative restoration is very close to me. I have been
seriously interested in these techniques for over 15 years, and I’ve been cooperating with Micerium for six of these years. Any dentist who is engaged

La evolución de la ciencia y tecnología nos ha permitido entregar a nuestros pacientes tratamientos cada vez más conservadores y estéticos. El
uso de restauraciones adhesivas se ha convertido en un trabajo clínico rutinario con resultados altamente predecibles y duraderos, lo cual se ha sustentado por múltiples publicaciones científicas en el ámbito de la
odontología a nivel mundial. La resina Hri es un tremendo avance en el
área de la tecnología de los polímeros , logrando índices de refracción
muy similares al esmalte logrando un efecto de mimetización insuperable
con el tejido natural y estética perfecta.
Uso de Hri en restauración directa posterior e Inlays de cerámica fijadas con Ena Cem.
La secuencia clínica que a continuación se presenta, muestra el recambio
de restauraciones de amalgamas y resinas fracasadas, por dos incrustaciones de cerámica fijadas adhesivamente con Ena Cem y una resina directa con Hri.

The demand for aesthetic results in Dentistry was constantly increasing in
recent years and led the dental manufacturers to a growing commitment in

igual a l'esmalt dental, assolint un valor més similar al de les dents naturals

amb altres composites. Són aquests detalls el que ens permeten anar avançant en el camí de l'art dental. I espero que a mesura que l'aprofundiment

La naturaleza de los dientes ha sido, es y será nuestro gran reto; saber imitar su apariencia nos llevará a la búsqueda de su esencia, al arte dental.
La evolución de los materiales nos ha ayudado y ayudan en este reto.
Es en esta dirección donde he tenido el placer de descubrir Micerium y su
producto HRi.
De la experiencia –no siempre satisfactoria, con antiguos composites de
hace años- he pasado a tratar y conocer un nuevo producto que me ha
dado la posibilidad de trabajar con materiales con un índice de refracción
igual al del esmalte dental, adquiriendo un valor más semejante a la de
los dientes naturales, mejorando así el mimetismo de las restauraciones
tanto directas como indirectas.
El pulido de las restauraciones que conseguimos con este material, nos permiten obtener una topografía y textura que hasta ahora no había podido
conseguir con otros composites.
Son estos detalles los que nos permiten ir avanzando en el camino del arte
dental; y espero que a medida que se vaya profundizando más los avances sean incluso más considerables.

The five-dimension of color and anatomical built up technique.
About a decade ago we were exposed to the five-dimension of color theory
and anatomical built up technique that was published by Dr. Lorenzo Vanini.
After reading the articles we came to realize that were standing at the thresh
hold of a new era in adhesive and aesthetic dentistry. At the same time ENAMEL PLUS HFO first generation had arrived in Israel. This new composite was
not just another product but a revolutionary one which required a new and
complete change in working techniques. We flew to San Fedele, Italy, in order
to participate in course at Dr. Vanini clinic. The course was a revolutionary,
exciting and amazing. Dr. Vanini is a true pioneer, visionary, a doctor whose
contribution will forever remain in the field of aesthetic dentistry. During those
years, I was in charge of teaching operative dentistry at Tel - Aviv University.
Following the course, we reorganized the curriculum for students as well as
dentists and in the last decade we have executed dozens of practical courses
as well as hundreds of Lectures with Dr. Vanini's "signature". Over the years,
with great appreciation at the thought and innovation invested in Micerium's

Composites on the anterior aesthetic zone are known as difficult to be
placed, time consuming and prone to colour change with external stimuli.
